It's strange, because she should have been happy. Berulava will go to JWC againBlonde woman at the bottom of the room is against.
I see Georgian Fed Lady Boss a bit bored at the far end of the room.
What's interesting is that when you read the social media dialogue for most it not all of the "legacy" Olympic Winter and Summer sports (those which existed in the Olympic programme pre-2000), it's the exact same grievances and suggestions as to "how to (supposedly) save <fill in the blank sport>". It's incorrect to assume that the talking points discussed here to this point are inherently unique to skating. The general public (not fans) only watch skating during the Olympics. Otherwise out of sight out of mind.
45 - JSF asking what the rationale for the 7-yr age gap for pairs & dance teams is - explanation is safeguarding from extreme age gaps in junior partnerships.
Just 3 against, 2 abstentions - passes overwhelmingly.
Yes, the Novice age changes were part of the ISU proposal. What about the age limitation change for Novice Pairs & Ice Dance? Is it included in this one or did they withdraw it?
Must meet the following criteria by the July 1 preceding the Events (official start of the season)I have been in 1000000 meetings for work this week and am wondering if someone can summarize age changes. I am a bit confused by what was posted here--it's me being somewhat dense, I must admit.
Is that the bald guy who just spoke, before Auxier? I missed his intro.Netherlands proposal about fall deductions is now under discussion - they're open to amending the proposal.
I believe it is.Is that the bald guy who just spoke, before Auxier? I missed his intro.

Well, there are lots of bald guys, lol.Is that the bald guy who just spoke, before Auxier? I missed his intro.
He has a lot to say.I believe it is.
Wieland Luthers, who has been ISU Event Manager for Figure Skating since 2016, was the person who spoke about the danger of back flips when a practice group or warm-up group is on ice. He earlier also had been ISU Assistant Event Manager for Figure Skating. (In other words, he has a lot of experience.)

This counts for Boston?OMG - I'm floored. Proposal was accepted. So we're back to the old system for Worlds, no QRs!!!!!
Yes. No QRs at all going forward. This counts for Boston?
lol yeah but honestly my son was bugging me about wanting to "actually see stuff" so this is fineYes. No QRs at all going forward.
I'm sure there will be an update from the Boston organizing committee with a revised schedule but I guess people can change their hotel reservations or spend a full extra day on sightseeing, lol.
OK, ISU deserves rights for once.Austria's proposal - I don't think I realized this but the Austrian rep is speaking and basically - they want to keep the current format for Worlds instead of adding the QRs.
Sam Auxier is speaking - they agree with Austria, but they are prepared for whatever decision is made.
OMG - I'm floored. Proposal was accepted. So we're back to the old system for Worlds, no QRs!!!!!
I'm just sitting here laughing. They went through this process and lengthy debate when it was implemented a few years ago only for them to pull back at, literally, the last possible minute and revert to the schedule/format we've had in place since QRs were eliminated, what, a dozen years ago? What was the point in the entire exercise of agreeing to bring back the QRs then?OK, ISU deserves rights for once.
Yeah, my question too, wasn't sure if it went into effect right away. Cool! This counts for Boston?
