Flip finally done, distance insane. He will clean up that landing I'm quite sure. Already said all there is to say about him. I'm glad the commentators, the other skaters, Ashley and Adam, many people in the sport are hammering home how out of this world his skating skills are and things like his jump distance, flow, landing position, step sequence intricacy, etc are all THE BEST.

PCS for me: 9.25 / 8.75 / 9.50

As nice as Kagiyama’s basic skating is, the program has very little choreography and the same crossover into jump patterns that the other men have. I’m not sure about staccato footwork for a skater who has great edges. Very meh on this program compared to his others.

I like this program and I like Kagiyama. I don't think they are fully in sync together. I'd think the fast part should have started much earlier and be a bit more showy. But a good skate, I definitely enjoyed him nearly as much as watching Carolina at the boards.
