In what world does new and unique styles not become the point for most fashion designers?

You'd probably have an aneurysm if you ever went to a nightclub or saw any major fashion brand show these days, or for that matter saw what I wore (or didn't wear) for my many years in nightlife.

What one wears to the club is not the same as what one wears on the ice when one is trying to win a world title. There are a lot of issues with Paul's costume and I wrote about them after SCI. It's just bad. It does not flatter him in any way.

It's ice dance. You know the sport with crazy outfits throughout the dawn of time? Nightclub and dance costumes have always had a striking similarity.

Paul’s jacket is quite nice. McQueen did a series of blazers and evening wear recently that featured similar cutouts.

Pretty sure this music was used quite a bit on NBC fluff or opening segments in the early 2000s for World Pros and the like. Wouldn't be surprised if ABC snuck it in for Kwan

Nah, I think they won't win a World title because the judges aren't all that impressed with their lame FD and their RD isn't enough to give them any kind of lead over ChoBat that won't be made up in the FD.

The Taschler's FDs all tend to blend into one for me, but this one might be growing on me a bit.

I don't like that choreo slide movement they end with. The stuff in the middle makes it look like she's made a mistake and is trying to catch up

I want the Taschler-ovas to win a lot of things, I can't get enough of the speed and flow and glide. Also I think he's hot.

Skating looks so big and powerful, especially after the Browns. Only level 2s on one foots, I’d need a replay, but either they need to firm up the clarity on their steps and turns or callers are lowballing them because they are too good to be getting such dismal levels on steps, really cool straight line lift with her hanstanding on his boot, interesting shapes during choreo steps culminating in ending pose
