For sure. Looks like two doll halves jammed together.

That one-foot as an actual pattern is STUNNING. She can't really pull off the immediate required edge change from back to front, but still it 'looks' nice. The music is beautiful, the choreography is really nice too, but the skating still leaves something to be desired.

That said, panels find ways to like them and judges find ways to really boost up their GOE and PCS, so they certainly are in the running for a trip to Boston.

I'd get rid of the second half and probably just keep the same first half theme throughout.

Agreed. Montreal is just too full. I think Scott and his team could really help them.

I don't disagree at all. They definitely create moments in this dance and actually in all of their programs that I don't feel so much from the other teams.

Green and Parsons, though-- I had no critiques of their FD in their first GP. Just brilliant IMO and back to that magic that everyone saw with their FD a few seasons ago.

Loved Zingas/Kolesnik. Am not sure what does the programme look like on the screne, but live it's awesome.

Zingas/Kolesnik - Emilea looks a lot more comfortable than yesterday. I'm never going to love this style of programme, but this one is superior among the "heard it at the eyebrow salon" FDs. I think they may have tweaked the choreo a little since SC, there don't seem to be as many moments where Vadym is doing something difficult while Emilea is just skating around.

Good dance spin, she looks more secure in her bladework today than in RD, out of sync on twizzles, particularly the exits. I think this is a good program to push them to develop different forms of interpretation and musicality. Because it is stripped down, it also doesn’t let them hide technique and Zingas rose to the occasion today.

He’s a guaranteed L4 on everything that’s scored separately. For that reason alone, I’d send them.

I liked the FD, but I think I unfortunately love the other one so much that nothing will ever compare and that's really not fair to them.

Shiplband is 60. That means he was not even 30 when he solely started the entire push of American ice dancing.

And of course, he used to dress in those huge suits (always the same) that made me think he was already in his 40s way back then.

Agree. Especially when you know how much drama, excitement and intensity this team can bring.

I can think of another more successful team that has gotten by on flashy programs and one partner essentially being pulled off the ice as much as possible

Piper usually has great taste in costumes. Her 2018 FD dress may still be unparalleled in gorgeousness.

This dress is straight up ugly and needs to go.

Fear/Gibson and Mrazeks were trying to run each other overduring the warm up. The trouble is that the Mrazeks are about twice faster

I want the Taschlers to win the FD in some epic meltdown of the top 3 teams like we've never seen, just on the principle of 1) hating GilPoir's FD, 2) hating Poirier's costume, 3) hating FearGib's FD, and 4) knowing TurkVers are being over-scored due to home field advantage.

There are parts of each team's costumes I don't like in this group, except maybe for the Brown's (yea for Oona finding a designer that works for her).

Just need nude gloves to get Bingo, just saying...
