i think we're all missing the fact that the judges clearly gave the Koreans a 69.00 for the bit and like who else could they do that to? They can't be sure any of the us teams weren't child brides at this point so they're for sure out

I'm really liking this today! They elevate all of the elements with extra transitional elements within, before, and after, and the speed from nothing is always a standout. Literally one crossover to get so much coverage across the ice. But yeah, that twizzle for both of them was a hot mess.

This may be the first time the guy has an obvious costume and the woman looks like she's wearing a practice outfit.

I don't think I've ever enjoyed the Taschlers this much though :cheer2:

I find them very well matched technically and presentation wise. Pattern dance works with the hot stuff song, nice cross rolls steps of the paso doble, Level 3 for the element. Midline steps solid edges, after the koreans this is like day after night.

Curve Lift, a bit of synchro problems with the first twizzle of the set, costed them levels. Choreo sequence nice.

Great energy, speed, presence. Should be first

Love the way they generate speed, out of sync on twizzles, wish the program was more exciting, the music in the first half doesn’t really engage and uplift their skating, though the ending was strong

To me, that pattern step was not performed with any kind of ease especially for the first half. Very stiff upper bodies, rigid shifting of position. Midline step, same thing. They just don't move easily and there's not much speed.

But I am quite liking the choreography of the program.

Better than the last outing. This time they don't look like they're skating to something they just heard for the first time.

the skirt up at her neck for the entirety of that lift was a thing

Really liked the Land of 1000 dances part of that!

Light and dance-y, they know who they are, which makes their expression believable, not hitting their levels, though, and they come across underpowered after the Czechs

Great energy from the Finland team. I’d love to see them dance a little more “dirty” and deeper into their knees into their second half, but nice choreo and well-skated.

Twizzles clean, felt good. A bit slow approach to the pattern dance sequence, music doesn't match. Step sequence midline, liked the choreo touches from both, content seems basic. Rotational Lift felt a bit long. Choreo rhythm sequence nice.

Overall a bit cold, music and placing of elements not the best in terms of program composition. Lacked some energy in some parts for a rock and roll theme. I don't think this should go first but we are in Finlandia.

Juulia's skirt says 1950s, I don't know what the top says, though.

This style of music plays to their strengths, at least, compared to a lot of recent choices, but I don't think there's any team more disadvantaged by the ISU having discarded classical RD types in recent seasons. She always looks like she should be skating a waltz or a tango.
