I’m glad that you stated this thread. I also wonder about the difficulty of getting tickets given the popularity of skating in Japan.

I’ve seen recent news reports that Japan may accept a limited number of small group tours into the country by the end of this month on a trial basis, and the plan/hope is to admit an increasing number of foreign tourists in the months ahead.
