Im so sad to announce that I'm not able to finish the rest of the Stars On Ice tour due to a medical emergency!
This tour was such a dream come true I'm so sad I won't be able finish it! My health is very important!!
I'm home now and on the road to recovery!! ⛸ thank you all for the Love and support you guys truly are the best fans!

I am sorry now that I didn't buy a ticket to the Victoria show. I am very sorry to have missed Shawn. I would have loved to have seen Gabby, and hope her emergency is settled by now. It doesn't sound like an injury, though.

Usually by the time the show hits Victoria they do not bring in any more "guests" and it is just the bare bones cast.

Here is my snark. The Times-Colonist ran a lengthy review of the show in the Sports pages this morning. This newspaper never covers skating competitions in any detail, just lists the results in an obscure corner of the Sports section. I have no idea why they would choose to report on a skating show, which was in no way an athletic competition. I suspect the Sports Editor doesn't have an F'ing clue.

ok thanks...Hamilton pictures were just gorgeous and there were only pics of a few performances from Victoria...I was looking for ones of Shawn Sawyer & of course always Lubov & Dylan

Just got home from the Vancouver show. Mr alilou came with me and he loved it. It's the first time he's seen live skating, though from time to time I make him watch something from competitions on TV or the laptop. He said Shawn Sawyer gets the prize for the best butt of the night, and he was seriously impressed with Kurt (as was I) and without prompting commented on how silent his blades were. Standouts for me were D&R's We Could Be Heroes, both of Kurt's numbers, both of Shawn's numbers, and Luba and Dylan just because I love them and it was so good to see them live even if they did do one of their numbers to that awful LP song they used last season Josh Groban puke or something. Mr alilou also commented that he could see how Luba and Meagan are similar types - fearless and feisty. Pair girls rule!
I've seen Patrick live before, in competition, and was completely blown away, but not so much tonight, though he is very smooth and his jumps were a thing of beauty - easily the best of the night. Kaetlin was lovely, Elvis was okay, Kurt was masterful. Overall the show was fabulous and a lot of fun and we're both glad we went.
At the very end after all the other skaters had finally left the ice Shawn and Luba went flying down the ice and did mirror cantilevers
