Yes, sometimes you have to let go of your historical knowledge to enjoy something for what it is. The first season of The Tudors almost killed me, but once I just acknowledged it as a bonkers romp through Tudor history I came to enjoy it.

But I just watched Heated Rivalry from start to finish and it's so, so wonderfully done. The season finale IMO even was better than episode 5 that held the perfect 10.0 rating for a few days. Insanely good acting and so much reality about how it is for so many people still to this day.
