2026 Junior Worlds - Men SP

Well, I guess Konstantin did as well as he could but those spins are really slow. On the bright side, I LOVE that song by Gavin DeGraw ... so a couple of points for music choice.

I don't follow the junior skaters like a lot of you do, so I've just discovered a new male singles skater to keep my eye on! Unfortunate fall on the combo aside, that was some HIGH QUALITY skating from Jiarui Li. WOW ... this kid could go somewhere!

There is something about Nishino that has echoes of Daisuke Takahashi in his personality & presentation style.

Third ice resurfacing underway before the final 2 of 8 groups.

Taiga! :encore: I just could NOT get the smile off my face during that entire performance. All the elements looked SWISH and his face was just radiating, "I'm having so much fun right now." LOVED it.

Strong skate by Yehor. Good for him. And, I just love Disturbed's version of "Sound of Silence," so, once again, I'm awarding a couple extra points for music selection. ;)

That TES is generous for Lee compared to what we've seen from the three guys at the top right now. Jumps were all a little tight, IMO.

ETA - TES dropped just over a point on review, but still too high.

Do we have someone on the rink? How huge is Vaclavik's 3a? On the screen it seemed he went 2m up.

I have never seen him really skate - in the JPGF where I was he had a great SP and then his boot broke and the first time he was skating on the new one was the 6mins warm up, so he failed all of his jumps (duuuuh)

Oh, this is a really rough skate for Elder Vaclavik. Neither brother will make the FS.
