2026 Junior Worlds - Rhythm Dance

Robertson/Rohner

Good spacing, twizzles were out of sync in places (level 3 for him), maintained speed well throughout program, very nice relaxed quality while they are skating

Such a fun program from Jasmine and Chase. Their twizzles looked a little weak as well, but they still got positive GOE. Love their attention to detail.

Kobor/Kobor

slide went awry in diagonal steps, program got sticky in places, nice rotational lift to end

I'm enjoying the dancers but, man, that looks like a very sparse audience in attendance. I wonder if it will pick up for the men's free skate since it will be a Friday evening? One can only hope ....

Bianchi/Basile

Nice job hitting the beat of the music, think they could perform more through the patterns, lovely speed, nice limber movement, could skate closer together

After 4 of 6 groups, another ice resurfacing.

Sznajder/Novak

A Czechia team that's not siblings

Base pattern on rhumba, there's a very nice dance-y quality to the way that they move and they always look so happy, smooth entrance and exit from lift

Thank you Ted! I have been wondering for a long time why ice dancers only get five minutes where everyone else gets six. And thank you Mark and Ted for both telling us what they know and speculating other good reasons for the difference. Best part of my day so far. It's early yet in the Pacific time zone though...

Looked like a little hesitation on the twizzles for Ambre. Too close to the boards, maybe?

PG/BK

I love their strong extensions, I also like that neither partner looks hunched over, levels 2 and 3 for patterns, think they've improved their expression this season, too. They used to be (mostly) technicians, but now they are performing and connecting more
