I'm hoping she matures, and if she doesn't act like that again, then it was just a youthful indiscretion. But wow, that was unsporting behavior.

You could see on Gregory's face that she knew that combo was short during the replay. I, too, think it's hopeful that Von Felten's working on refining her basics with her.

Well, Hana broke the curse that took over the ice for the first two skaters of this group. Very good skate!

Was very curious to see Bath. Still not the most refined skater but she has clearly worked on it. I liked it. I think with both 3a in the free she could challenge for a medal.

Alica has real potential to be the complete package -- she's floaty and elegant, but there's some power there too.

Saw Lengyelova in practice yesterday and was really impressed, she had such a calm presence and great posture. And did nothing but footwork for the first 10 minutes.

I saw her smile a couple times! Looks like she's working on adding expression, which will be a good addition to her solid technique
