2026 Junior Worlds - Women SP

Von Felten

Has made nice strides in cleaning up her positions, 3a-3t late in the program  toe was especially short, but gutsy, adding some emotion in the steps--still somewhat clinical in first half of program. Good progress made, still room to grow
Glad to hear Sophie Joline has been working with Melissa Gregory and the ice dance group in Newington, CT.

Final ice resurfacing - after 7 of 9 groups the SP results so far:

I can never not think of Gerke as the 🖕 girl from now on until forever. Not sure if the clip got posted on FSU before. I've never seen that before in my 25 years of watching skating. 😅

I'm hoping she matures, and if she doesn't act like that again, then it was just a youthful indiscretion. But wow, that was unsporting behavior.

The ISU YouTube "videos" include most of the skates so far with the exception of Ezhova & Shao:

PCS gets her in by the hair of her chinny-chin-chin.

Yep, saved by the PCS. (Second highest so far!) But what a nightmare skate for her. :(

Was very curious to see Bath. Still not the most refined skater but she has clearly worked on it. I liked it. I think with both 3a in the free she could challenge for a medal.

Wang

I saw her smile a couple times! Looks like she's working on adding expression, which will be a good addition to her solid technique
