2026 4CC - Women Short Program

Well, okay, then, Sarah is the only US woman in the final group for the FS.

Oh wow! Maybe I typed too soon about the composition of the final group for tomorrow!

Proclaiming results before the skating is complete?
Well, it is Mone who has skated clean in the SP all season... Until today.

Also, she needs to get with Weaver again before Milano-Cortina - choreo felt subdued today compared to Japanese Nats.

Third Place, what?
I don’t know if Chris listens to what others say or he finally has a substantial comment on the actual skating, but he’s absolutely correct about her insane skating skills and strength in gaining speed and momentum off almost nothing.

Sure, but her skating skills are only one part of PCS. She tied with Nakai for the highest in presentation and had the highest composition as well. There is no way her presentation score should have been the highest on the night. And you were complaining about Aoki being lowballed, so please explain how Chiba deserved higher composition than Aoki.

I’m just following your PBP. But if the Oly panel judges like this, the US might not medal. Even I think skating skills aren’t everything.

For me, Aoki really should’ve run away with the PCS here. Since she has such a late skating order for the free, I hope she nails it and actually does get rewarded for once.

Jia skating in the second group. Meh.

I did, Karen. By saying I think Aoki should have run away with it. You type quick.

I did, Karen.
No, you didn't. You gave a condescending three word response with no actual defense of the PCS marks that Chiba received, Tony. All we know is that, as usual, you believe skating skills is somehow more important than the other two marks in PCS. Chiba's score, even discounting Aoki being hosed, is indefensible for how she skated today.
