Sofia’s program is also choreographed brilliantly and her skating is so good. One day she’ll get the PCS she deserves.

I'm not enamoured with Samodelkina's dress, the colour and design just feels a bit like it doesn't fit the music. That said, she performs the hell out of the music and that was great to watch her skate it.

Maybe we need a list of old warhorses that haven't been used much lately for skaters to consult when they get the itch to skate to Moulin Rouge, Notre Dame de Paris, or Bolero.

North American skaters going to the Olympics really do get the shaft not only do European skaters get to compete in one big final Championshp event which is a big one but Asian skaters going to Milan if they want to are able to still compete at 4CC since it's is almost always in Asian and it's not a very long plane flight to wherever it's held.

Is this the only La Strada we'll be seeing in Milan? If you told me a year ago that we'd be seeing 1 La Strada and 10 Ricky Martin programs in Milan I'd never have believed you.

No, she was on the GP all season and beat Isabeau at Nebelhorn.

No, she rocked it out in the challenger and was ahead of Amber I believe in the short.

As someone within the USFS said to us in the stands after her Nationals short, ‘she’s a personality away from a World medal’.

And honestly it’s probably realistic. She just needs to break out of that shell and move with purpose.

Maybe this is why I can't get into her skating. Even with relatively interesting music like this I just don't find her interesting skating to it.

You know if someone skated to more than just Young and Beautiful from The Great Gatsby soundtrack I'd probably be really into that. There's other good songs on that soundtrack.
