2026 Europeans - Women Free Skate - "You Can Leave Your Splat On"

I don't know why, but I find it more appealing when skaters just put one arm up above the head when jumping (tano) than the Rippon version with two arms.

Has Italy already named Lara Naki Guttman to the Olympic team or is this a skate off between her and Anna Pezzetta? I know Pezzetta's GP season wasn't great and Guttman's was better but I seem to have missed if they named their woman for the Olympic team amongst the conversation about whether or not Italy is sending Memola or Rizzo.

Joos is actually ahead of Pezzetta in the Olympic race. Lara should be good to go.

Lara is named. She is about 20 points higher in the ranking

Allowing that the ice is slippery, blah blah, and that anything can happen, blah blah, and that the judges gonna judge, bleep blorp: Considering the three American women, three Japanese women, two Korean women and then Petrosian/Schizas/Samodelkina, what chances do any of these women even have of cracking the top 10 in Milan? (FWIW, if I were a betting woman, my money would be on Gutmann to be the one to manage it.)

At worlds last year it took a score of 194+ to make top 10 and 2 European women did (Pinzarrone and Petrokina). If I were guessing, I would say 1-3 Europeans will be top 10 in Milan.

After being out all season with injury that was pretty well skated. The jumps aren't quite where she needs them to be so I'm sure we'll see some rotation calls.

118.61 = 5th Place
177.89 = 3rd Place
