Very solid skate for Nika. One of the best skates from a performance level we've ever seen from him.

Q 91.28 = 1st Place

Yeah I’m sappy because I’m really happy for him. He respects the hell out of every other skater, watches them in the stands and cheers all of them, and he at least is trying to improve his skating rather than resorting to just doing the quads.

That's nice to hear. And he's still pretty young so lots of time to hopefully improve.

91.28! Great score and he deserves it. I'm very happy for him.

We were treated to some wonderful skating in those 2 final flights (and even in the earlier flights too). A few disappointments, of course, but ..... wow ..... the men were SOOO much better than the women in the SP. Good luck to them all in the FS.

As I recall, he was an original TTW member way back as a junior. We saw the heart break potential early on. #nostalgia
Boss didn't allow Juniors on the Team, but the potential has always been there. And not just to break hearts.

WTF happened to Kevin????? 4 deductions?

ETA - just had a look at the scores. Everything negative GOE (except a spin) and he fell on the steps. Wow devastating.

I was going to skip watching Euros tonight, but so glad I didn't. With the expected heartbreak of Aymoz, what a great night of skating. I know the younger Selevko is a better skater, but I'm rooting for Selevko the Elder/Emily's boyfriend. So happy for Rizzo too. And my grudging growing respect for Egadze. Great skates in every group.

I do think Selevko the Elder is a more complete skater but the Younger is catching up. Both are great.
