Good SBS salchows, throw 3r smaller than some of the other teams, nice expression in the steps, classic ending pose

Hase/Volodin have been strong technically from the off but I feel they’ve really found their vibe and stepped up in performance this season. This programme is nothing super original but the full body commitment to the choreography and expression is great, and they’re showing a connection between them that wasn’t there before.

MiNiki - 3tw - nice; SBS 3t - gorgeous; throw 3lo - like butter; lift - lovely; BIDS - good; SBS spins - synch is a teensy bit off but nicely spaced; step seq - very nice.

This is going to lead by a LOT. Let's see how close they can get to MiuKih's top SP score of the season so far.

Ok so no problem with H/V in first but pairs shouldn’t do tangoes, they can’t dance well enough.

And I love me some cheesy dramatic Carmina Burana so I’m fine with that program!

Nikita serving ham with these OTT facial expressions throughout the whole program. But still a great skate for both. Easily the best in class.

I mean, if we're picking tangos this season, I'll take ChanHowe's repeat tango SP, but this one is quite good also, so I can't complain. Plus, I appreciate that Kati Witt stepped up to support them and paid for their costumes this season since the German fed is so miserly.

Hase needs to watch Stolbova/Klimov's Argentine tango to see how to really nail the tension. But, then she and Volodin may not hate each other enough to really feel it. .

Honestly not enough separation between them and the Canadians. The PCS is almost the same which is just NO, even as someone who liked the program well enough. The Germans are infinitely better and the program has 10x the content.

Really loved that program for Minerva & Nikita! I liked how they both seemed equally into it. Fit them really nicely - what an excellent skate!

Oh man, Deanna's face in the KnC. Not impressed.

And after the camera was off them she started questioning the coach, I assume as to why, and she was mimeing some sort of rotation. They got off the risers quick, all around NotHappy vibes.

I know the music and program choice for Deanna and Max isn’t popular, same with the backflip which is controversial, but I love this program for them. It has potential to be wow and Deanna sells it hard even if Max doesn’t. But it needs to be clean sharp smooth and they weren’t that today which I think is why Deanna may not be so pleased.

The Germans were clean sharp and smooth. Though this program doesn’t do it for me personally. Rightly rewarded.

Yeah, I expected them to be at least a point higher than what they got here. Not liking the scoring here for either MiNiki or SDDes.
