I’m much more excited about this group than the next one

So, Ilia's planned SP content is 4F, 3A, 4Lz+3T - but someone on X noted that the rink placement of the 4A+3T he did at this morning's practice is exactly the same as the 4F placement in the SP...

if Selevko is repeating his SP, I somehow did not see it last year. That costume is memorable!

I think Torgashev went down on the axel. Did another one with a hand down in the same spot.

Very shaky but completed 4S from Naumov. 2S from Economides

Weird kinda damper effect on those first notes. Sounds like the music is screwing up. The music itself is one of those 'make everyone look artistic' pieces :-P

One thing about Max in person is that almost all of his jumps land with such a loud thud like it's on the flat of the blade, and then there's not really flow out although this 3A was a good one. 3Lz and 3T were back to the same old I just mentioned.

All in all not bad. I was more into the construction and effort of this than any of his programs the last few seasons.

Maxim Naumov 🇺🇸
Coach: Benoit Richaud, Vladimir Petrenko
Music: Nocturne No. 20 by Frederic Chopin

3S
3A
Change Foot Camel Spin 3

3Lz+3T - flipped off the landing edge
Step Sequence 4
Change Foot Combo Spin
2 (3 after review)
Flying Sit Spin 4

I'm sure this must be one of the difficult competitive skates of Maxim's career, but this kind of skate is not what he needs in the Olympic season.

75.27 = 1st Place

Well, it's a lovely program, but that tech's not going to get Max a spot on the Olympic team.
