Of all the "Unchained Melody" versions out there why people use this hideous version is beyond me. Truly up there (close to the bottom with the stage version of "Dirty Dancing") for worst Broadway version of famous movie ever. (And I even saw mega-bomb "Carrie.")

I could be happy never hearing "Je Suis Malade" again. Such a dirge. I'm sorry for the other skaters who have to hear that over and over again in practices.

They updated the SP but not the FS on the bio. This action left the Season 2024-25 on the FS label, with last year's program still on the new-style bio. I took that to mean they kept their last year's program, the unfortunate "Je Suis Malade" music, which I loathe. However, if we are very. very lucky, it means they just haven't submitted their new FS program yet....

on the other hand, they have nothing to lose this season, so why not skate to the music they like...

It’s 2024/2025, and even with the older bios they sometimes listed the previous year’s program(s) if they didn’t have new information- which did not mean they were keeping said program. They just didn’t update new season info. Not saying there’s no chance they will indeed keep Je Suis Malade, but the lack of new season update doesn’t mean they definitively are.

The format has only changed in display, the text is the exact same carried over from the ISU bios we’ve grown used to the last 25 years.

Kurakova is perky enough to do Satine's opening number from the Broadway soundtrack, although it would have to be edited for length.

That hideous, screechy version of "Memory" she used for her "Cats" medley last year put death in my soul. It isn't a song written for a soprano and sounds ghastly sung by one. Again there are MANY good recordings of that song, but the skater/choreographer chose a complete crap version.

Or what about this exotic thing I hear that’s going around it’s called chocolate? Can I get that and then go out to the streets and show it off to everybody? Lol
