It’s been in skating since the late 70s. In the first World Pros circa 1981, it was a team competition and both teams skated a number to it.

And I still like it

Tanith White does not like it. She called it cheesy 80s montage music, or something similar, on the air once.

I think Benoit and Misha Ge have choreographed 75% of the programs this year.

I realize this is a facetious comment, but am I the only one who thinks this is a problem? I don't remember a choreography monopoly back in the 6.0 days. No wonder all the programs look identical.

Sandra Bezic choreographed a lot of programs. I think the difference with Benoit is that his programs very much look like him. Shae Lynn is doing a lot of choreography, but I don't think it's the same situation as with Benoit.

I am 100% here for this but I'm also going to think of people calling Joannie Rochette's program to the same song Muzak Madonna because it was 2005 and she had to use the instrumental verson every time I see Amber's music.

She skated to the original version as an exhibition program in the same season, with the same cut and choreo as the short program basically.

Fun fact- something happened with said exhibition music and she didn’t have the CD? or whatever they used back then with her at the Torino Olympics. I very quickly used Audacity and put together a very rough cut for her to be able to use there.

HALLELUJAH!!!! My prayers have been answered!!!!!!! Their FS last season was trash & initially they said they were keeping it for the Oly season, but I've been praying to the Skate Gods that they'd bring back Hot Ghost. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
