I’ve also heard that Oh, Mary! is surprisingly good.

I'm in a group that takes turns picking plays/musicals. I never ever ever pick a jukebox musical but one person always always does if one we havent seen is available. so I did see that and he is charismatic and that is all I've got for it.

I've heard so much about this Sunset Blvd. "reimagining." I'm not likely to get to NYC anytime soon, but I wish I could see it.

we saw it twice and all 4 actors were so good, I love how it was staged. I wanted to see it a 3rd time but got down voted by the kind of people who will want to see waiting for Godot with bill and ted.

Yes, Nicole Scherzinger can SING, but I don't get any characterization, just over acting. And the YouTube excerpts of this stripped down staging doesn't work for me at all. ?‍. But it's apparently "Sunset..." and "Gypsy" duking it out for both musical Best Actress and Revival categories.

"Maybe Happy Ending" is the likely Best Musical winner, but I think like "Kimberly Akimbo" it's small scale charms doesn't really translate to a venue like the cave that is Radio City Music Hall?

I think there were better songs to sing for the Tonys but they've already done them on tv. I respected Kimberly Akimbo but im good not seeing it again. But I really loved MHE, bought all the merch. And despite being a bitter old hag, may have cried a little. Don't tell anyone.

I loved the first act ok "Kimberly Akimbo" and HATED the second act. I saw it on B'way and it was part of our touring season this year. My opinion wasn't changed. But I loved Carolee Carmello in the lead

Nicole Scherzinger and Audra McDonald have won all the precursors. "Death Becomes Her" will probably end the night with just one Tony for costumes. I loved both leads in "DBC" when I saw the tryout in Chicago, but I hear there's been a lot of drama swirling since it hit NY and many missed performances from both leads.
