Team Ice On Fire WINS the best costumes award! I love love love these! 4 skaters in dusty blue, 3 each in sage green and forest green and 6 in dark turquoise.

ETA - also, the cut and style is really interesting and flattering on all of them. Just fantastic all around!

I love the different colours of matching costumes - it made it really interesting to watch how the shapes developed because you could more easily follow the skaters as they changed positions. Too bad about a few errors in the performance.

That was a great skate. I really loved the shapes this team made, and in particular, the 5-point star to triangle intersection - it was so smooth, and the shape so clear.

I generally like the Skyliners programs better than most other US teams. This was a good program but they weren't getting some of the levels needed to get on the podium.

@Willin could probably explain better but this seemed to be an off season for them and Skyliners beat them at Nats for the silver medal, so Skyliners got the assignment.

Strong skate for the Czechs but not the same level of difficulty, or quality that we've seen from other teams in this group.

Something about where the skirt meets the purple top section makes it look like the skirt is tucked into the top. I think it's the way the two pieces of fabric are connected.

It’s like 4 people each designed a quarter of the dress and then got together the night before to sew the 4 parts together.

See, now this is how you add a splash of purple/grape/plum into a costume... Very sophisticated black, halter-style dresses for Team Zoulous with a split skirt that shows off the purple underskirt.

I liked the use of the music - taking advantage of the sharp moments, and matching their movements to it. Overall the skating quality wasn't up to the level of the other teams.

There are very few teams that I think have the performance skills/style to make that music work (FWIW, GilPoir is another but they already did the dark/dramatic with Wuthering Heights this season, so I left them off my list).
