For this poll I will include who could likely be the medalists from what seems to be the confirmed list. There appears to be a lot of entries this time around, so that is a good thing.

New ISU bio for Sofia ENKINA / Nikita KOVALENKO: http://www.isuresults.com/bios/isufs00117684.htmMoss/Gal (bit of digging - I think this is Reagan Moss, but no idea who her new partner is... @Sylvia??)
Junior International -
Enkina/Kovalenko ISR
This year's dates for John Nicks are Sept. 6-7 (I was planning to start a joint competition thread in Kiss & Cry with the Middle Atlantics NQS in NYC).
ETA that I see from the GS post linked below that no source link was provided so I guess we'll have to wait and see if the pairs listed will show up to compete.

Nikita's ISU singles bio: http://www.isuresults.com/bios/isufs00107844.htm ...
Turns out Reagan Moss' new partner "Gal" is a typo for Slovakia's Jakub Galbavy, 17, whose only has 1 junior singles international (October 2021 Budapest Trophy) listed in his ISU bio: http://www.isuresults.com/bios/isufs00108053.htmMoss/Gal (bit of digging - I think this is Reagan Moss, but no idea who her new partner is... @Sylvia??)
I was wondering if Carpenter/Maravilla would be added to the ISP since their Skate Detroit non-NQS score was in the same range as Fletcher/Felberbaum's Battle of the Blades score.I saw that SC of NY now has a John Nicks Challenge Pairs schedule linked from their website for those in the NYC area who might like to attend on Wednesday, Sept. 6 or Thursday, Sept. 7 in the WEST Rink at Sky Rink, Chelsea Piers, New York Pier 61 at 23rd Street entrance: https://www.thescny.org/images/articles/mids-2023/Nicks Schedule.pdf
Admission is $10/day or $15 for both days (includes Middle Atlantics NQS comp. events; I will start one competition thread for both competitions in the Kiss & Cry section by Tuesday).

According to this 7/31 tweet that includes a link to a Slovak federation document: https://twitter.com/AnythingGOE/status/1686015386464952321
"Jakub Galbavy is released from the Slovakian federation at the request of USFS, he can compete from the 24/25 season."
I believe that there are supposed to be 3 Junior pairs scheduled to compete in the Nicks international - so of the 5 preliminary entries posted, they are: Enkina/Kovalenko (7th in their JGP Linz debut for ISR), Ashley Fletcher/Aaron Felberbaum (new this season, coached by Chris Knierim, and recently added to the ISP), and Saya Carpenter/Jon Maravilla (based at Detroit SC; ISU Junior age-eligible even though they are not listed publicly in the ISP right now).
The 2 Junior pairs scheduled to compete in the Middle Atlantics NQS are Sydney Cooke/Matthew Kennedy (new this season) and Moss/Gablavy.
The entry fee is not cheap ($400/team).It's a darn shame that Skate Canada didn't send/let a couple of their teams not on the JGP go down to compete
And Eisteam Salzburg has just confirmed Schaller/Mayr will be there!Their training rink in Bergamo confirmed today that Valesi/Piazza will be there! https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cww7Nm5LOBZ/
That's my theory too, but the NQS results page says Mid Atlantics starts on Thursday, so who knows?Wednesday Sched.-
Junior SP 1:15-2:15PM
Senior SP 2:30-5PM
Thursday Sched.
Junior FS 10:50-11:45AM
Senior FS 12-2:45PM
(I guess they are combining the international with NQS, since the NQS Pairs doesn't have any time slots and all the practices are mixed?)

Yes, they have WD.Solely from the seniors international only Chelsea and Balasz have withdrawn?

The detailed time schedule has the Int'l pairs starting first???Delayed start to competition for nqs junior pairs. They are at entrance door to ice waiting to get on.
Zam is resurfacing.
Should we take the rest of the event reporting to KnC or do you not have access to that area?I have been in West Rink since approx. 1:10 p, and no competition has happened at all.
Enkina/Kovalenko were standing around off ice, but nowhere near entrance door to ice.
Zam has left ice.
nqs junior pairs are on ice for warm-up now![]()
