Korytek/Chapman are WD per the NQS live results page.

Thx, I am not attempting to keep eye on results pages.

They just lowered blinds, so reflection problem not as bad now.

Warm-up in progress for first group Nicks seniors.

ETA:

Just noticed that Korytek/Chapman are here watching Nicks seniors compete

3:25 pm Zam is resurfacing after first group Nicks seniors

junior nqs pairs warm-up started

They are not letting spectators stand near boards today in West Rink -- even far away from entrance door to ice.
Literally only ten nine chairs total for spectators in West Rink, which are at corner of ice.

ETA:

During juniors, a few people were able to stand in the same corner of ice (closest to lobby) as the nine chairs.
But for those who have been inside West Rink before, today no one allowed on the board-side ramp (along long side opposite judges) that is closer to lobby. Other board-side ramp (also along long side opposite judges) that is further away from lobby leads up to entrance door to ice, and understandably is for skaters/coaches.

NQS senior pairs on ice for warm-up.
I expect that first group of Nicks seniors will follow the two NQS senior pairs without resurfacing in between -- same as yesterday.

Zam just started resurfacing after first group of Nicks pairs

* My apologies that I have been using Zam in a generic sense. Resurfacing here is by Olympia brand machine.* :)

1:14 pm
Second group of Nicks seniors on ice for warm-up
Today Viktor Pfeifer is at boards for Austrian pair. (Don't think he was yesterday? I know he was just with Beck in Linz.)

I was watching results live, so could we say that Katie and Danill won the event? Even though they were in the NQS? I guess they are the solid choice for the third USA team at skate America.

Parkman wouldn’t be able to compete for the US until December, and that’s entirely dependent on his release from Georgia as well.
Yup - they're a solid choice for Golden Spin where they'll be able to earn the TES mins for 4CCs and Worlds. They're a solid threat for the 3rd Worlds spot, but definitely not SkAm, lol.

Betting money for the 3rd SkAm spot would be on the Mokhovs. I can't see the USFS giving it to any of the other teams in the mix - Hanns/Neudecker were 8 points behind and Martins/Bedard and Ouellette/Newby-Estrella were even further back.

Interesting that Judge #1 in the NQS was not impressed with McBeath/Parkman. 4-4.5 in the SP 4-5 in the LP. Looks like they have a really strong twist and lifts, based on this and the earlier summer comp. If they can get that 3T and the 3F clean...watch out. The 3F/2A combo will be a big point grab.

Florence Vuylsteker from France.
Today she was on the low side for everybody in the international competition too, especially with Crafoord/Crafoord (36.05 PCS by her vs 53.80 received by the panel based on trimmed means), Martins/Bedard (35.38 vs 44.06) and Schaller/Mayer (34.04 vs 42.86).
She gave the lowest PCS of the panel to everybody except to Plazas/Fernandez (her PCS were the second lowest), Valesi/Piazza (she was close to the average for them) and the Kovalevs (idem)
