excerpts:
Our priority was very clear to start for Germany. But after months of discussions, the DEU remained too vague financially, so we have entered into negotiations with the Spanish association for better or worse “, Dieck explained.
The DEU offer would not have covered half of the costs, we would have had to pay for our trips ourselves .... Spain is now paying all the full costs.
DEU President Andreas Wagner describes Dieck's change as a "major loss. We are very sorry that we could not hold him, but financially our hands were tied". Dieck would have wished for more appreciation. "I had classified my standing in the DEU differently. I had to take this step."

). Personally I wouldn't be suprised if Hase/Volodin have more potential even rather stort-term than Hocke/Kunkel. Their jumps and elements look strong and IMO Hocke/Kunkel seem to be stagnating a bit.
Maybe they'll let Hannah Keiss skate at Nebelhorn, she trains there after all.
They're in first with 65.38. (On a more frivolous note, I like her new hairdo.)
