Here's hoping that my beloved Phillies get out of the slumpy low-winning start they've begun the season with and start playing more like the playoff team from last year!

I'm pleasantly surprised that the Orioles have a winning record so far, although they haven't had a super-tough schedule. I hope the pitching improves by the time they start playing other winning teams.

I can't really face the Nationals right now. Maybe later in the season when its more summery.

If Las Vegas is going to give the As a new, improved stadium and treat them well, I say go for it.

Old clip but it never fails to amaze me: How did he know?

It's a commerical.

My sympathies to any Oakland A’s fans. Maybe the change of venue to Vegas will improve their playing

My Phils are quietly 8-2 for their last 10 games and this fan is thrilled! Let’s see if they can keep it up.

The Phils scored 4 runs on one hit to win their game today. Apologies to Mets fans, this isn’t how it’s supposed to go!

So at the pre-all star minor league game thingy**, the woman who sang the national anthem had sparkles around the Mariners letter on her shirt and she wore silver sparkled ankle boots to match :glamor: .

And her voice :kickass: .

**ETA: The Futures Game. (Followed by the chaotic celebrity softball game.)

To say the Yankees first half has been disappointing is a huge understatement. The lack of offense is just ridiculous at this point. Whoever the new hitting coach is has a lot to fix very quickly.

Shohei Ohtani is out as pitcher for the rest of the year with a torn elbow, and is supposedly going to stay in as DH. That makes no sense to me, other than I guess he's a free agent next year? But anyone getting him would have to be aware that he needs repeat Tommy John surgery, and is likely to miss most of 2024. I hope he doesn't permanently damage himself and end his career early, he's a unique phenom for sure.

My Phillies are quietly and steadily setting themselves up to be true playoff contenders again this year, and this fan is thrilled!

Well, the Braves are officially the first ones in the post-season. Watching them celebrate at my team's home field was a little sickening, but kudos to them, they have a totally solid team up and down.

Braves are a great team; I'd put my money on them for the whole thing if I wasted my money that way. But the Phillies have a great shot once we get to the playoffs.

I think the Nationals could have done without September. :blah:

My Phillies made it into the first place wild card in dramatic fashion with a walk-off base hit by their rookie outfielder in the bottom of the 10th inning yesterday. Pleased that they've made it to post-season again, I love this team!
