Some messy landings/turnouts for Torgashev on about half of his jumping passes, but this is easily going to qualify him for Nats.

Oh, Max... Popping your opening quad into a double - this time you have no boot strap to blame. And not when you pop your next jump either. Nice 3A+2A to come back with, and starting to get your legs under you with the next jump.

I'm really glad that both Naumov and Torgashev qualified for Nats with scores above 200! Now, the Pac Coast guys know what they need to book their tickets!

Ooh, Isobel Morrow is skating to the Age of Innocence soundtrack! Nice! (I recognized it instantly but had a brain freeze and had to Shazam it to figure out what it was. )

Naumov could be so great if he can get consistency.
Totally. There's a quality to his skating that is word-class! What a treat to see him skate even though he didn't land his quad. I remember seeing him skating (on a youtube video) years ago and thinking he was very stiff and mediocre, but he has really improved a lot.

I missed most of Lara Annunziata's program and she's in the lead by 20 points right now with 3 skaters left. Ting was good on her first three jumping passes then popped one, and then the rest was hit-and-miss with a popped axel as the last jump. I have no idea where this will place compared to the rest.

Oh boy... Gwen Bloesch just took an awful fall. She also looks like she shares a costume designer with Isabeau Levito. I'm pretty sure that Ting just booked her ticket to Nationals. And none of the Eastern women 3rd or lower are going - the Mids women in 3rd-5th all have higher scores, so now they hold their breath until tomorrow with Pac Coasts.

Yeesh, Ava... Just because you had an 11 point advantage from the SP doesn't mean you need to blow it here...

2A+1Eu+3S< fall | 3F+2T | 1F | 3Lo(q?) fall | 3Lz+2T | 3Lz fall | 2A

Such refreshing quality but not her day at all. Thankfully she has that huge SP cushion. Huge, huge, huge Lutzes.

Yikes, I hope Ava isn't injured.

At this rate, Ting might just win this.

ETA: Not quite but good thing she had the lead in the SP. 2nd in the FS.
LOL - I was just going to say, well, she won the FS, but you edited your post!
