I am so impressed with Jordan Chiles right now.

Did anyone see the start lists for the US in Qs? Everyone doing AA except for Wong who is doing 2 vaults, and Blakely who is doing everything else. That is not at all where I thought they'd go with that. Didn't even realize Wong had two vaults.

Here is the broadcast schedule for the USA (can people outside the USA even stream Peacock?). So good luck watching since this is all normal daytime working hours for this side of the world. I don’t see any mention of replays.

November 1 – 2:15p EST – Women’s Team Final – Peacock

November 2 – 1:25p EST – Men’s Team Final – Peacock

November 3 – 2:30p EST – Women’s All-Around – Peacock

November 4 – 1:45p EST – Men’s All-Around – Peacock

November 5 – 9:15a EST – Apparatus Finals – Peacock

November 6 – 8:15a EST – Apparatus Finals – Peacock

November 5 – 12p EST – Highlight show -- NBC
To emphasize - Replays will most likely NOT be available on Peacock. If watching is important to you, make arrangements to watch live! You may want to subscribe to a VPN and find an international broadcast that does offer replays.

Whoa! I thought Wong would do bars. I assume Carey's getting to do bars to try to make AA finals, but why Blakely over Wong?

Wong really struggled in podium training, from the videos that were posted. She didn't really make it through her routines on bars, beam, or floor. I wasn't surprised by this decision TBH. At her best Wong is one of the best AAer in the world but she's not in that form right now.

Does anyone know if the Youtube FIG channel is streaming qualifications? I can't tell by anything they have listed. Maybe I missed the schedule?

FIG tweeted qualification routines would be posted November 7 once competition ends. Better than nothing but I know I probably won’t end up watching them after the fact…

Finally. It was very frustrating how they did not react to any questions about it. Indeed better than nothing but so sad nonetheless

With all the kvetching about quals, my brain processed that they had already happened and I went looking for scores. Nope. This afternoon for the east coast.

no. the FIG made a bad contract with EurovisonSPorts (for next year as well, btw) _ EurovisionSPorts does not have to show qualification per the contract and is just not doing it.
so the FIG will show it AFTER all competitions have ended.

Thanks! I guess that means I will be watching Skate Canada instead. I am not sure why, but I am feeling more like watching gymnastics today...

Sigh. Chiles fell twice on beam after having a great first three events. Jones and Carey will be in the AA final for the US. Carey, Chiles on vault, Jones and maybe Chiles on bars, Blakely (and maybe Jones but her score isn't that great) for beam and Chiles and Carey for floor finals.

Meanwhile, here’s what Nina Derwael ?? did in qualifying on bars.

It’s insane she can do all this and be so tall (5’ 7”). I do wonder if this routine was overscored a bit, though.
Her execution is generally good. The D panel did in fact devalue her own element. They are being tougher on these elements now and you must initiate the turn before grasping, otherwise it will be credited as the same element without turn. So her D score was 6.3, whereas she would have had a 6.5 if it had been credited.

I have no idea how to find out the current standings.
It says live scoring here but I can only find a few scores here and there. Does anyone has a link to a comprehensive standing so far in the AA and the team qualifications?

The vault scores look funny on that FIG link. The official tracker shows Jade in first, Hedwig's link doesn't even show she has two vaults.
When I looked at the results yesterday, there were two options for vault. One just said "vault" and included what I guess was just one vault per gymnast, presumably the first for those who competed two vaults, and the other said "both vaults," and did show two scores per gymnast. This was using the option to download the results.

Netherland on place 5 right now. There are still Brazil, Italy, GB and Germany to come for teams who might make the final. So at least one of those or Netherlands to miss out, right? Or am I missing a vital team? Not so up to date in gymnastices.
