Pavliuchenko/Khodykin Be Italian SP Love everything about it, the crazy twist exit , all the jumpy tricks and transitions, his head bobbing in the death spiral... perfection! Will need more mileage to become smoother but great start!

I'm so happy to see them back on the ice. This is my favorite pair SP of the season. Some polishing to do by December, but they'll get there. I couldn't help but think how I'd have loved to have seen Vale Marchei skate to this her last season in pairs. This exact choreography.

So many Russian pair teams. I hope some of those who aren't going to be top 3 at nationals get challenger events so they can skate outside of Russia. These skaters are too good to not get to do more than be in a fight just to get to Nationals.

It seems that Pavliuschenko/Khodykin have such a spark that they can make a lot of programs stand out, whereas certain Zhulin’s dancer won’t be able to spart even if they skated to exactly the same program. Seriously? They are too much like a copy of Zabijako/Enbert. Look pretty, elegant, nice lines but they are soooooo boooring! It wouldn’t hurt injecting some personality into their skating.
