Russian Cup series & other domestic events (2021-22)

So great seeing Erokhov that happy and smiling All the way.
Love the Bro-knc with Kurbanov. Volchkova-Boys seem a good gang.
It has been a long way for him. The program is very much  but I'll take this at that moment.

Well done! (And please get another shirt and get rid of these Eteri-legacy :yikes: )

Awwww, someone is giving matching stuffies to the junior pair teams. Bears in matching skirts and pants, pink and grey elephants. Too cute. And the girl is ignoring her elephant and he's playing with his.

Tar/Mor the biggest issue I see with them not winning the OGM is Evgenia's ability to keep her focus. She caught an edge in the ice right at the beginning of the program and it totally rattled her. She didn't fall, but it threw off her timing and she made errors on both SBS jump passes. She two-footed the second throw, but to her credit it was huge and it's a lot harder to land those really big throws. The first was excellent. No falls, but she gave away enough points that it could be costly in another competition. But, she's smiling and laughing in the KnC.

I really like Artemivea/Nazarychev and can see them in the hunt to take out Boi/Koz at nationals. Some errors here, but if P/K aren't 100%, they could be a threat.

IMO, it looked like her leg was bothering her today. Granted I read this with google translate, but fans on one of the Russian boards thought the same and thought by the K&C convo, the coaches and everyone where expecting more issues today than there actually were because of the leg.

Really happy for Mironov  (I fear for Akhanteva/Kolesov partnership more and more)
Kinda sad, Geinish/Mironov were not listed for JGP.

Pairs JW qualification battle will be :watch:

Even more happy for Solovyova/Ivanov.
They were not seen again after her horror splat last season and it's good to see they are back:
She is a gem and he is rock solid. I am totally contra switching but it kills me to see a pair of Hase/Seegert level does not even get some Senior-B's and is stuck in RC series (ok, the level there is quite fine, but :drama: ).

I am so late with this but I'd just like to say that Artemieva/Nazarychev Artist SP is one of the best things I have seen all season so far. Some fab footwork and great choreo!

Really low scores in the ladies field so far. This would have been the place for Nugu and Konstantinova to skate :drama:

Anisimov

I love the way Volchkova usually reacts to huge scores. Like it's daily business and exactly what she expected

Where are Samodurova and Gulyakova? If they both medaled at Stage 2, shouldn't they be on there somewhere?

@Sylvia posted results of St. Petersburg Cup (where Samodurova and Gulyakova skated).
That's a different 'cup' and does not count towards nationals qualification.

Pavliuchenko/Khodykin Be Italian SP :cheer: Love everything about it, the crazy twist exit  , all the jumpy tricks and transitions, his head bobbing in the death spiral... perfection! :respec: Will need more mileage to become smoother but great start!

What is Evdokimova doing with Akhanteva/Kolesov and Kudriavtseva/Spiridonov?
Is she somehow in Klimov/Savin's team?

Kudriavtseva/Spiridonov ahead of (clean) Pepeleva/Pleshkov and A/K :respec:
Awesome. I absolutely enjoyed that. Never thought the judges would put them ahead :respec:
