JudgeThree also stated: "I’ve been aware of these allegations for months. To ward off the expected questions: Florida police and Department of Children&Families are involved. Mandated reporters, including victims’ therapists&U.S. Figure Skating officials, reported to DCF when they heard the allegations."

victims' therapists....

What does Papadakis have to do with it? People shouldn't be harassing Aymoz either, but it's not like she has anything to do with the Florida group.

Well here is the post I mentioned. This person also had another post tagging Aymoz.

Seems that this 'Liza' person is unhappy with Gabriella not being 'outspoken' enough on problems in figure skating as she is on other social issues. But frankly, to me this looks like 'Liza' was just taking a dig at a skater she didn't like. ?‍♀️

It's sad that after hearing such a news, the best reaction she could come up with is this.

Some of these coaches are so consumed by the prestige of having a winning skater that they risk their entire careers trying to cover things up. I wonder if Zimmerman/Fontana have been kicked out of their rink yet.

A Fanyu who's obsessed with V/M and Stepanova/Bukin, seems about right (S/B, through not fault of their own, are the choice of a certain segment of fans).

I guess some people have to jump at any occasion to harass Papadakis on Twitter...
I hope that Papadakis long ago blocked notifications for anyone she doesn't follow.

For anything official, I assume they'll want to temporarily suspend and save the kicking out until there's been an investigation.

Absolutely deranged...

Why should Gabby have spoken out about Coughlin? I mean, if she wanted to, fine, but she has nothing to do with an American pairs skater, she doesn't even train in the U.S. Yes, Morgan was her teammate, but why should she be obligated to say anything? And poor D/F. This is just like the social media lynch mob attacking random skaters who didn't publicly post anything after the Coughlin allegations became public.

People, please, there are already enough ***holes involved in this situation. Don't add any more to the mix.

The Denney sisters have had some very bad luck in terms of trusted figures turning out to be involved in scandals like this.
I was thinking about that too. Though Haven hasn't said anything or even been publicly mentioned in connection to the Coughlin case (that I know of), there's no doubt that it must have been really traumatizing and devastating for Caydee in so many ways. And as her sister and a fellow skater, Haven must have been affected too. And now this. I guess the only silver lining is that there are no major competitions left until National's, and hopefully by National's SafeSport will have come to some kind of conclusion, based on which D/F can make some kind of informed decision about their future and have something definite to say. Although I'm sure they would've preferred to solely focus on National's, through which they have their best chance to get back to Worlds in years, instead of thinking about how to deal with the fallout of this whole thing. They're not even my favorite U.S. team, but I've found their comeback inspiring this season, and I just really feel for them.

As for Papadakis. Does she have any say within the French federation? I suppose as the most successful current French skater, she may have a bit of influence. But given she's training in a different country and has absolutely no first hand info about any of this, and SafeSport has not concluded its investigation, what could she or anyone else in the French federation possibly do at this point? I hope the skaters will not be harassed too much at their National's next week.

Oh, thank you! SafeSport can't investigate Cipres, but can investigate the three coaches (and are doing so). In the meantime, USFSA is not allowed to suspend the coaches while SafeSport investigations are pending.

I guess we'll all have to wait and see what SS decides in the end. "Exposing a minor to porn" is explicitly mentioned as a violation, so Dispenza's coaching career is probably toast; especially as he supposedly said things to the girl that clearly constitute retaliation/threats (according to Brennan). And Zimmerman's career in the US might be similarly toast, as retaliation/threats would seem to apply to him too, plus "covering up abuse." Maybe the only real question mark is Fontana -- has she done enough to also be suspended/banned?

If Fontana is criminally convicted, she can be deported even if she has become an American citizen. The rules are different for naturalized citizens. Cipres, who of course is probably in the US on a temporary visa, could be deported in a few days.

No kidding! I would hate to be a man right now. I have no idea what happened or what did not happen. But boy once a guy is named he is maimed.
Surprised it took you this long to show up and defend predators as usual :blah:
Poor man who send minors dick pics form his official Instagram account. Yeah, let’s have sympathy for him and not the two minors who were abused and threatened in this process. You’re disgusting.

Fontana was born in New York.

ETA- see above.

And if you have to blame the French by association, why stop at Aymoz and Papadakis ? Why not blame James, Cizeron (who worked more with James/Cipres than Papadakis btw but it always only Papadakis that is targeted by PC haters), and every other French citizen while you’re it ? Don’t stop so close on the path to wokeness !

No, she can't be, even if she was naturalized (and she was not): https://www.david-ware.com/blog/201...ent-revoke-your-naturalized-citizenship.shtml

The rules are indeed different for naturalized citizens, but basically you can only have your citizenship revoked if you procured it illegally, or if you joined a subversive/terrorist group, neither of which would apply to Fontana.

Geez, I hope it's not that easy to lose your U.S. citizenship! There are literally millions of naturalized citizens walking around in this immigrant country every day.

This has to be a Lifetime movie! I am more upset about the allegations that Fontana and Zimmerman trying to cover it up. It is simply moronic. In what universe could they keep the lid on this?

And, it explains a lot about why J/C restricted their competitions all year.

Fanyus have nothing to do with this mess. It's just another layer to the way that person seems to engage with skating.
Yeap. I have seen her other tweets for a while. She seems to dislike Gabi a lot. She's V/M and S/B die-hard fan though. But of course, many of their fans are nice so it has nothing to do with V/M or S/B fans either. Just saying this person and her friends have formed a strong dislikeness towards P/C and Gabi especially so...

Back to the topic, so unless the French Fed opens an investigation, Cipres might get away? I am not sure.

I'm afraid that under this administration they are looking to broaden the causes for which naturalized citizens can be deported. But that is for PI, another day. Since Fontana was born here (which I didn't know) she's safe from that, but Cipres sure isn't.
