It’s based on the world rankings. Shibs and C/B were pushed out of the top 5 because they didn’t do challengers this season

Yes, but she practically skipped the most relevant, the eyeliner!!!! . And she said that: I don’t mention any brand names because of Rule 40. Sorry! I will come back and add a product list in March. I am waiting for the brand names!!

About the starting order, well, they knew it, I hope their skating will be so convincing that it won´t matter the order. They look happy and relaxed, they are totally ready for this

Also, new interview clips from the Shibs. I'm hoping for the best for them. No matter what happens, they've already had a dream Olympics and have gained an incredible amount of publicity and new fans and followers. I think a weight has been lifted off of them and I bet it'll only make their performances and skating stronger than ever. I trust that they'll give their best performances yet.

Nice article. And yes, their Olympic participation was already successful regardless the results in the individual competition. And I am sure people will love their exhibition too .

Ok so I found this CBC commentary version of their SD from the team event and someone in the commentary booth was super excited, clapping along to their music almost the entire way, and shrieking “Yeesss! Yes!!” as soon as they finished. I have no idea who it was, if it was one of the commentators (Kurt Browning and I think Carol Lane?) or someone else who just happened to be nearby but omg I love it and can’t stop watching

Maia and Alex are on a giant banner with other USA athletes on the US Embassy right down the street from my hotel!!! They are the only figure skaters pictured. And they're wearing a version of the Paradise costumes!

Excited for the SD tomorrow here!!! We will watch on tv and cheer live in the arena for the FD!!!

I dont post often but I read a lot on this forum, especially this thread! Just wanted to let you guys know that the shibsibs where just on the dutch tv (late night olympic talk show on the national channel),they were interviewd for a segment about there social media, big thing because figure skating is only a 4 year thing here (and even then there is very little talk about it). So good to see them and hope that the rest of Holland will check them out!

Anyway, I hope they do great in the short and have a stunning free

Shibs have been getting all the promo from NBC, so let's hope that's a good sign for them. I really feel like something clicked when they skated that FD in the team event, and I think that's going to mean good things in the SD as well. Go get those levels Shibs!

I think skating so well in the team event took a lot of pressure off of them. Especially now that they have a clean FD under their belt after the FD being bumpy for them the last two times. I even think the start order might be good for them. They don’t have to compete for attention or invite comparisons with P/C or V/M. The come from behind approach will let them feel free to attack more.
