Great news. I bought the ticket for Pairs only, cause of Klibova. But I am happy these two pairs are going too.

Han singled the first double toe, then Sui stepped out of the 3s. But the level 2 and 3 on the pairs spin and lift also cost them. Sui got 12 stitches before the olympics; that's why they weren't at 4cc as planned and skipped the team event.Feck eurosport, feck Sky Italia and feck me idea to wait on Eurosport Poland and watch nothing.
I missed everything. I thought I was mistaken and maybe there was no FS today. After waiting for hours I fell asleep.
I guess I'm going to have to watch the replica now.
I just saw the result. Not surprised with T&M LP at all tbh. But wth happened with Sui&Han?![]()
I am happy with the podium but poor Evgenia, she was so heartbroken in K&C.
Truth is, they are contenders for Beijing 2022 and absolutely need new choreographersI did feel very sorry for T&M, but in truth their FP had no place on that podium
If/when Aliona retires, I would give her anything in the world for her to be T/M's personal life coach/stylist.

Whomever believed that program to be Olympic-worthy did them a disservice.I am sorry for Tarasova/Morozov's disappointment, but yes that program just had no place on an Olympic podium. It was that bad. As much as they lost due to technical mistakes, I do feel that the program contributed to the loss as well. Because I think somewhere deep inside, they knew they didn't have the package to compete with S/M or S/H in the LP.

It was an embarrassment.
I think the worst has been avoided right ? It could have been a interational embarrassement, but people did not seem to care too much on TV ? because I don't want to this to end up as an internet jokeWhomever believed that program to be Olympic-worthy did them a disservice.

The thing is if you compare : S/H did a perfect SP, S/M popped one jump (Massot)Wonder what the general reaction would have been had S/H fallen on "right" side of the half point for the gold.

Probably the 99% of people would be complaining. I would be 1%![]()
I genuinely, honestly, do not understand the hysteria about how awful Candyman is.
It's not that bad. We've had more than a few programmes with random spliced music choices in the past, but I do understand that the music choices (besides Candyman) are a little random and it doesn't have a cohesive theme to pull it all together, but frankly outside of the podium and handful of other pairs (Marchei/Hotarek, James/Cipres in particular) most of the other pairs are skating through their music to complete the elements, and most don't have the talent to weave the incredibly difficult pairs elements in with a strong theme and choreography expression.
Tarasova/Morosov look like they're the fastest couple out on the ice with possibly the highest skating skills, with difficult transitions. I agree the choreography mark and interpretation should likely be lower.
Do they need a drastic change? I'm not so sure - look at their SP to Rachmaninov - I personally think that was really nice programme that was packaged well. If they're capable of that, then better music choices should surely sort that out.
My problem is not so much the program or the music, but the program does not fit them at all. Probably it would be a good program for S/M or Valentina/Ondrej.
I am even afraid to think about it.Wonder what the general reaction would have been had S/H fallen on "right" side of the half point for the gold.
Well, about that... There's this: http://fs-gossips.com/ksenia-stolbova-we-didnt-make-any-decisions-about-retirement/Stolbova & Klimov- Mozer says they are done after Worlds. I hope they reconsider. They still have more to give and achieve IMO. It would be a shame if their career ended on a bit of a down note and mostly an erratic quad for them with few high points.
But first Fedor Klimov told that he didn’t make any deсiіions about finishing of the career. Then Ksenia also made a pretty harsh comment:
Since Monday we are preparing for the World Championships, we did not make any decisions about retirement, and there were no conversations on this topic. But it’s better to ask (Maxim) Trankov about this, he knows better about our plans.
Did anyone catch the interview with Katia Gordeeva? Was it on the regular NBC broadcast?
