Neko Atsume kitty collector -- any other addicts?

That's such a good idea! I wish I'd thought of it this morning but I admit I didn't even remember it was St. Purrtrick's day.

I did buy the Zanzibar pillow and got a visit from Xerxes IX and got Guy Furry's memento!

I finally got Peaches to visit Of course her back was to me though - ha ha!

Peaches back has been to me 2 of the 3 times she visited- at least once, she showed me a great view of her little heart shape on her side.

So I only need 4 of the rare cats including the still elusive Kathmandu... Of course, I need mementos from all of them.

The rare cats seem to give the mementos faster. I got the one from Billy the Kitten after 5 visits, and the one from Guy Furry after only 4. Meanwhile, I have 60 visits from Sunny and no memento!

I finally got Peaches to visit Of course her back was to me though - ha ha!

I've been lucky with Peaches She seems to like the orange cube and the Ritzy bits. Rascal on the other hand....

The cake box is my new favourite small toy for cuteness. I think the game designer must have had Maru in mind ...

I got the temari ball today and it's my favorite for cuteness! Dottie seems to love it.
Still no sign of Rascal.

I'm excited because I only need the mementos for two kitties who only come to large toys (Conductor Whiskers and, why naturally, Bob and his friggin metropolis). In general, I like the small toys so much better. Still need Peaches' "non rare" memento and a few of the other rare mementos, but almost done!

To be honest, though, I'm a little sad that the challenge part of the game may end.

Has anyone tried the Hamster Spoons app by the Neko Atsume folks? It's only available in Korean so far, but I downloaded it anyway and while the hamsters are clearly not as awesome as cats, it looks like fun. The menus are similar enough that I'm fumbling my way around.

IKWYM. Though I had a dream last night that after you've collected all the kitties, a whole new set become available.

Finally got all the cats! Of course I still need tonsome of mementos...

I almost missed a Peaches sighting... I looked at the game, closed it, and was all "wait a sec... did that kitty in Conductor Whiskers' spot look like Peaches???"

I had my first visit from Billy the Kitten this evening, and I missed it. He was stingy too - left me a measly 1 silver fish.

Yeah, he usually only leaves a couple of fish for me too. Until today, when he left 6 gold. He was probably high on 'nip and forgot himself.

Frosty visited again... and I almost missed him thinking it was just Snowball Now I've seen him twice- once outside with his straw coat on, and now inside with it off. Both with the snowy pillow.

Also got a great photo of Peaches tonight, where you can see both her face and her heart shaped mark. So far, I've seen her 5 times... with 5 different objects. And luckily I haven't missed any of her appearances.

Still don't have a memento from a single rare cat... excluding Tubbs, of course.

I finally got mementos from Rascal and Kathmandu so I could finally change out a couple of my toys. I still need Chairman Meow and Conductor Whiskers before I can switch my big toys but I put out a couple of the pillows for Frosty to see if I'll get him to show up.

Mr Meowgi is even stingier than Billy (and Billy has an excuse -- he's just a kitten after all). I hope Meowgi leaves his memento soon so I can get rid of the log, it's definitely not my favourite toy.
