When I grow up I wanna be the person who names makeup colours. Remember when it was just "coral" or even "blue" and maybe on occasion the more descriptive "rose beige"?

Make up names are so much fun now. My favorites are the nail polish names.
BTW, bought Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Opal this weekend. Love! I did learn my lesson: use a light hand lol
Did you get the pressed or the liquid? Did you try champagne pop or topaz? I have the poured(cream) of topaz and the pressed powder of champagne pop.
I really have too many highlighters. My favorites are Abatross by Nars and Bobbi Brown's 24 carat shimmer brick.
I got the pressed powder. I suck with creams, I can never get it right, it's always blotchy and uneven.. I plan on getting Topaz for summer, that would be gorgeous. The Champagne Pop looked a little too much like NYX Narcissistic. I'm really into a bronzer/highlighter kick right now. I have NYX Illuminator in Narcissistic and Magnetic (Magnetic has glitter though so that will be given to my 10 year old), the Hourglass Ambient in Radiant, several shimmery Physician's Formula bronzers, and a MAC one that has a slight shimmer. Lordy, I need to be careful or I'll be a freakin' disco ball! lmao
Here's a photo with Hourglass and a little of Becca on. Sorry for the crappy photo, the ipad's front facing camera is not good. https://flic.kr/p/CQNir5

myhoneyhoney sounds like a nail polish colour!
Meant to mention this - on the weekend I was at a big Asian supermarket hunting about for daikon and udon noodles and Chinese celery and all that good stuff, when I stumbled into the beauty aisle! Along with the usual shampoos etc that you'd find in any grocery store, there was a significant display of skincare, include about a 6 foot section of masks. Of course most of the labels weren't in English and I didn't recognize the brands, but I intend to spend some timebefore our next grocery trip and see what I might be able to find.
Thought I'd share in case anyone else who is interested in Korean/Japanese/Chinese skincare has access to a local Asian market![]()
I had a gift card for Sephora, so I got Urban Decay lipstick in Rapture and I was really pleased with myself that I found this fabulous new color.
I came home, went to put it with my other lipsticks....and there is an Urban Decay tube. In Rapture.
Le sigh.
Oooh that looks like a good color for me too. But yeah, a glut of berry lipsticks here as well.I had a gift card for Sephora, so I got Urban Decay lipstick in Rapture and I was really pleased with myself that I found this fabulous new color.

I have done this.
More than once.
Well, it's a very nice red.Just did this with Essie nail polish in "Forever Yummy."
Powder products should be OK for years and years. If you're worried about germs, give it a bit of a spritz of rubbing alcohol then let dry.Does blush need to be replaced after a certain period of time?
I did my once every three to five years of getting a makeover, and I have at last found somethings that look good and are easy for me.
I have blush that I got during the last makeover. Keep or toss?
