China could actually beat Russia even thought vault is not the greatest event for China, but vault tends to score a lot higher than floor and China's already got a 1 point lead.

UK was 2.4 points behind Russia, would need to average 0.8 higher than them to get bronze, very possible given the disparity of scoring on vault versus floor.

So I'm not a stickler for form (obviously, given that I like gymnasts like Aly and Maggie ), but Seda Tutkhalian's is absolutely appalling if you ask me. Girl can't even do a round-off with straight legs and legs together.

What is with the trend this year for so many gymnasts to have non-lyric vocal sounds in their floor routine? I don't think I've seen it before this year and now Gabby, Simone, and Afanaseva all have them.
