Thanks to TripleAxel1996, I now know why Rory Flack-Burghart was a successful pro skater. All of I knew of the story was that she was one of the only skaters to make it as a pro without having been an Olympic eligible previously, and I figured that she had the two easier triples and a very nice style. It turns out that she also had the flip, the loop, great spins, and splits that rival Sasha Cohen's.
The 2009 U.S. National silver medalist pair team of Caydee Denney/Jeremy Barrett originally teamed up in the summer of 2006. They split up before Eastern Sectionals later that year (she went off to Colorado to focus on singles) and, 2 years later, she returned to Florida and reteamed with Barrett in the summer of 2008. These 2 home videos of their 2006 competitive debut were just uploaded last night.




When will these people learn that we don't want to hear their mindless natter - we want to watch the skater(s) interpret the music.
