And Estonia and Switzerland would have two. I could be okay with this outcome for all of these countries. If you were just to consider the short program placements as final, Japan, Korea, USA and Belgium would all have three ladies skaters next year
and Amber...
Well, I was mostly responding to all the people who were saying that we could drop down to 1 woman next season.
I am thoroughly enjoying this World Championship so far.
I’m crediting it to the kiss and cry

Ehhhhhh... until they have a 2nd woman who displays some degree of consistency, they're fine with just 1 woman, lol.But it’s really time for Italy to get its butt in gear in women’s to achieve two spots

Haein finally drew the "generic korean sparkly dress in a muted color" card this year
Povey came to close to Q. After hearing her story I wanted her to advance. Argh.
Totally prefer the instrumental version! The Sarah Brightman vocals don't help, though.
Biggest reaction of the SPs I think. She’s another powerful skater who is breathtaking liveI adore Loena! We need her in this sport! Listen to that crowd respond to her! Oh my, the look on her face at the end of her program. So happy!
If you get the chance to see the Morricone documentsry, Maestro, don’t miss it.Morricone is one of the greatest composers for films that ever lived. You should look him up on IMDB next time you’re looking for a movie to watch.
I just wrote about him in the TV commentaries thread. First he bugged me then made me laugh so hard that the tears washed off my make up…especially as his voice followed Loena’s moves. This guy was close to having a heart attack. “HOP HOP HOP….AAAAAHHHHH!” during each jump.Awesome, now someone tranq that shouty man getting picked up on the mike- who hired him for commentary?
I'm watching the English feed but you can hear the French Canadian commentator Alain Goldberg in the background and he's way too excited LOL.
I was going to say the opposite. If only they could put each person on a separate, toggleable audio feed!In the long let’s have much more Tonia and a lot less Mark.
I sure hope that Amber can pull off a good free skate. She's gonna need it.
Next year several skaters have planned bending over and shaking their behinds at judging panel.that's the best part
She started off fine, but she had a jarring error on her combo - seemed to land the first jump fine but then didn't do the combo and almost came to a full stop. After that, her program just went flat. What has happened to Grubanova?
