Ditto to this! I also think some were undermarked. Great show. They are starting to do packages and I hope they keep them to a minimum.

The Duels have been pretty interesting tonight. Some surprising results but there hasn't really been any blowout wins by anyone so this is really a wide open contest (at least the duels tonight have been wide open...not sure how the other three divisions will go!). I like the redemption round that they added and will be interested to see how that goes later in this episode. :)

I really like this redemption round and I'm SOOOO happy that Briar got the win tonight. She was incredible...I think her redemption routine was better than her original one which was already pretty awesome! Good for her and I can't wait to see her in the next round! :cheer:

I like those who got through. I just wish that Tobias and the EZtwins had a spot. They were fabulous. I like the commentary from competitors at the side. I don't like the camera going to the judges in the middle of a routine! All they're doing is saying "woah" anyway.

Wow, Briar was AMAZING and I forgot that she had to overcome that epilepsy diagnosis. That was an incredible routine. :respec:

She was entertaining to watch, but breaking it down all she did was walk sexy and do acrobatic tricks. I'd have given redemption to the couple.

These junior teams are brutal towards each other, LMAO

Great dancing tonight and I've actually agreed with all the ones that have gone through so far.

I love the Crazy 8's (those girls are amazing) and that sweet girl with mutism wanting to say hi to J-Lo was SO cute! :cheer:

Are there only 2 of us watching? :) I disagreed with just about every win last night! I don't know; maybe I'm just snarked over hoiw ice dance went! Still great dancing though.,

I might be in the minority, but I found most of the junior teams barely tolerable. I blame it on having been to one too many dance comps when my niece was competing.

My only quibble on who went through last night is that I thought the Dancetown Divas made it through based on their duel routine, and not their redemption routine.

Another good show tonight although I could do without all the jawing back and forth between the dancers/teams. Just let your dancing do the talking and stop trying to talk smack. Maybe that's just me though, LOL

I could do without all the burns in the routines as well. Just dance to the music and don't try to find ways to reference your competitor.

Agree agree agree with all that has been mentioned above. A good solid night of dance although I did not agree with everything.I would have liked to have seen the tappers go through for an extra spot.

So tonight is The Cut and so far everyone in the Upper level has been pretty strong. I am VERY impressed with how much emotion Briar Nolet brought out tonight and I was also impressed with the duo who did all the tricks (how did that guy not drop her so many times?!). :cheer:

Junior teams are up later in the show. Maybe they'll keep the smack talk to a minimum tonight, LOL

What a night! I was very surprised by Poppin John; did not expect him to be so good! I think Hubbel/Donahue should pay close attention to that couple who were first. And as always, those juniors are savage!

Really impressed with Kayla Mak tonight! I thought she did a wonderful job. Bummed that Lauren Yakima wasn't quite as strong score wise tonight but I loved her routine and felt like she gave out a lot more emotion than in previous dances. I hope she did enough to make it to the divisional final (there's still one junior to go). :cheer:

Unfortunately, Lauren didn’t hit any of her turns. Although I was sad to see her go, I was happy the judges scored her correctly.

^^
Must agree. Kings and the Heima! I don't know how they'll decide between the two. With the Kings, they are all fantastic. The Heima has the one super fantastic spinner guy. Really that's the only big difference I can see. Glad I'm only judging at home.

Partially watching the best routines on youtube, but I have to say, I'm a big fan of the Heima, such a unique look and flow. Kings are very impressive mainly because they have mind blowing tricks but I don't find them as unique as the Heima. Ne-Yo labelled it elegant breaking first time they appeared on the show with the La La La routine and he couldn't have picked a better term. Still both Kings and Heima make it the best season so far for me.

I think they need to rethink how they score. Using averages allowed Derek's opinion to rank one act over an act that both Ne-Yo and Jennifer scored higher. Didn't make a difference in the long run since both acts were eliminated, but if one act made the divisional finals and the other didn't solely based on one judge's scoring, it would be unfair.

I was hoping for a non hip hop act to win this year but just don’t think The Kings or Heima can be denied. I do prefer the Kings so far but Heima are great too.

If Les Twins hadn’t IMO erroneously taken the first season I’d be less annoyed I guess, because I think the right winners won season 2.

Wow, I'm all ready surprised by the first act going through to the finals (not upset surprised at all because she's one of my favorites but IMO, J-Lo definitely tried to influence that result with her score...) so what the heck is going to happen in the rest of the show?! :cheer:

I'm not sure I agree with the rest of the results tonight so far. I'm just not that impressed with that junior duo group and honestly, the junior team final could have gone a different way too. Oh well.

The Upper Team final is next and IMO, that one is gonna be ridiculous.
