Failed flip aside, Wang did a decent job. Didn't get all the levels she would've liked. Pretty dress. Quite a bit of green in the costumes this year, which is fine with me. Being a natural redhead, it's one of my best colours .... as long as it's not mint or something too pale.

I think for Wang and Von Felton, they had the element of surprise at their first JGP plus clean programs. As they compete more (and with mistakes) callers/judges are noticing their weaknesses. Hope both girls can take the feedback and improve their skating performances

I assume this is a case of valuing the experience more than the immediate result, otherwise I don't know why she still has a backloaded Lutz-toe combination when that has been causing her problems all year.

Neither of the Liebestraum dresses this season are all that good. Whickety-whack is the enemy though you'd think the opposite, surprisingly enough.

Yes, Ted, "delicate" is the correct adjective to describe Shin's skating. "Delicate yet powerful." Wonderful skate.

And, we get the usual coach cam reactions from Brian Orser. But, as had already been established, it's in the rulebook that he MUST be shown. I'm joking .... I love Brian. Always have.

Probably not a medal this year, but on the plus side for Jia, finally no more Junior Worlds!

She started only three points behind Ami and Elyce and could well medal. Such a lovely skater.

I just caught up to Anna, that was a great skate. Her only mistake was popping the loop. But I feel like her score should’ve been higher. It looks like her jumps in the second half got lower GOE, but I’m not sure why because they were so huge. I think she is the best female jumper in the world, and that includes both juniors and seniors.

And speaking of that when we get to see her on the senior Grand Prix circuit next year, do you think?

The red flower/square on the hem of Goidina's skirt in one corner confuses me. I also keep seeing it flashing around & think she's bleeding, even though she hasn't fallen. Well, at least, not until the choreo seq.

3f-2t to start, 3r good, good 3z-2a-2a all three jumps had good spring and controlled landing, fall in choreo sequence on slide, 3f flipped out and under, and it was going so well!

So I was going to ask if your bum is allowed to touch the ice in a choreo slide move and you just answered my question. It was a fall. Shame.

Wada has wonderful flow across the ice. Some urs being called apparently. She looked lovely in that dress with her dark hair and colouring. As for myself, I would simply fade into the ice and completely out of sight in those colours. But, then, if I was trying to perform on the ice, my fading out of sight would probably be a relief for the audience!
