Man, seems like I've been hearing James Brown a lot this week. Enough so that it will probably fill my cup to the brim for the rest of 2025.

He needs to work on just about everything besides the quads. I'd have the PCS way down especially comparative to many of this and the last group.

I mean, just those quads alone are enough to get him Germany's Oly spot if anyone manages to earn it; 3a also nice; falls on the 2nd 4z; 3f+2a+2a good; 3f+2t also good... Yeah, the guys who are going to be at the OQE next September better keep an eye on Genrikh. The German fed would be stupid to send Starostin or any other man to that.

I don't disagree, but Blackwell also didn't have much of a program, so I don't think the PCS for Gartung was 'nonsense' from this panel. I do, though, question Kuperman having lower PCS than both Gartung & Blackwell.

Wow, the 2nd half of Takahashi's was great. He totally kicked it into gear. Just 15 years old ... lots of time to improve too. I think I said it yesterday but Sena is one cute kid. Must be setting the little teenage girls' hearts a-flutter.

I doubt that Jacob knows this, plus Jacob wants to win, so he's going to be putting pressure on himself regardless of Patrick's placement. Also, the USA wants 2 spots at each JGP, so we can't afford for Jacob to finish off-the podium really.

Great start for Choi with that big 4sal. Boy, he really gets terrific height in his jumps. Very, very good.

ETA: I think Habin needs glasses ..... squinting to see his score. Cute. I know how he feels.

Hagara is much more engaging this season, but something still is cold about the overall packaging.

Really great and unique patterns into his jumping passes, though.

Hagara - this shirt does NOT scream 007 at all. 3a+2t good; 3a okay; 3f+3t good; 3lo nice; 3z+2a+2a excellent; 3f nice; 3s good. Solid program. He had a bit of a cushion over Choi after the SP and he MAY have done just enough to stay ahead, but I'm a bit doubtful. We'll see.
