I've never seen one. That was my thing when I first started doing this. I kept thinking of good four letter words that fit and just wanted to stick the S on the end. That would add a whole new level of difficulty and frustration. Don't give them any ideas!

My understanding is that the answer will never be a plural noun formed by adding s or es, but you can use those words for guesses.

The answers can be past tense verbs formed by adding d or ed.

I think I've seen irregular plurals like women and geese.

But not a 4 letter word ending in the plural S. You'd have to come up with every four letter word in the world just to add an S to it to make 5 letters. Actual five letter words are bad enough.

I have to analyze the ones I don't get in 3 or 4 cause I hate feeling stupid. Yesterday, I had two A's and the R in the right place, and I thought of "larva", but then I thought, no, it's larvae. Apparently that is the plural. Duh. I stuck in "varia" for the fifth word, not knowing it was a real word. So I knew there was a V in there. And duh again.
