Stolbova&Klimov or Sui&Han. :cheer2:

Assuming they all skate clean and well. Vote which one you want to see as a winner. What your heart wants.
(Repeating myself, I know. :shuffle: :D)

I'm not into pairs that much, but Sui/Han are one of the few I really like. A win here would set them up nicely for the Olympics, so that's what I'm hoping for.

Savchenko & Massot is who I'd like to win... but honestly I think it will be Sui & Han and I'm okay with that.

Since I am Canadian I am cheering for Meagan and Eric.
BUT. I love Sui/Han and T/M. I can even see the good points of S/M.
I guess I would be happy if any of those four won, but ecstatic if D/R managed another win before they retire.

Sui Han: their unison is outstanding. But I'm nervous if they win because then many will want T and M or S and M to win because people seem by nature to want the lesser to win, to make themselves feel hopeful.
I often catch myself rooting for the underdogs, in football and baseball, just because they are underdogs.
But I try hard to sit back and see only what is before me in the moment. I hope for pair skating and it's deserving of popularity, that all teams skate amazing. I want a great event of pair skating and I want people to love pair skating!

I think Sui and Han are the best of the top five by far.

Even Savchenko and Massot, who have a brilliant FS; but he still pales in comparison to her, and Han, his competition.

I also find Sui and Han pretty effortless, except in their side by sides, comparing them to all other teams.

They're powerful, connected to each other and the music. Their elements are clean, difficult and effortless in execution.

As usual for me T and M are brilliant technical skaters, unbelievably exquisite positions etc, but without connection to each other, their music.

And they and their team IMO have zero idea how to interpret their choreography, which I feel is juniorish and frankly embarrassingly bad.

As usual they bewilder me.

I'd have them in fourth or fifth, based on PCS.

D and R will do well to get bronze.

I admire them greatly, but they don't hold a candle to S and H or S and M( despite his shortcomings which he's improved) in their programs.

S and K bore me to death, but based on their attack, speed and power would place them above T and M.

Their terrible twist is such a bizarre deficit for them. And IMO, their total lack of connection to each other. I still think they need one more quad to figure it out.

Are they retiring after the Oly?

Eric and Dylan are the same age. They have been competitive skaters for as long as I can remember....at least 15 years, going back to Jr Men.
Time has taken its toll, and they are both skating with chronic injuries. I suspect that, if this had not been an Olympic year, they might have retired already.

He has some injuries (shoulder/arm is one, which is why his arm never looks straight in the lifts), so they are planning on doing shows.
That is not true . he has not got shoulder nor arm injuries . Dont post what you dont know to be true

Dylan said in the GS interview that this was the first summer in three years that he hasn't been injured. He said that last year it was a tear in his hip, that he got around 4CC 2016. He also said he had hernia surgery that summer. He didn't describe the other injuries.

I'm sorry to hear that but I'm glad they will continue skating together. They're a good match and I wish them all the best.

I'd be happy with everyone winning bar Team ''Panty drop''. I am going to root the most for Sui / Han as they're my favourite pair. For once it's not the underdog that I want to win the most! :p

I had heard that he had. I wasn’t trying to post inaccurate information. It looks like he does have limited mobility because his lifting arm is bent some.

I have no idea, how Ksebia could bore someone to death :drama:

Honestly speaking, I want S/K to win GPF just to redeem their condicence before the Olympics.
I want a great competition between S/H, S/M and S/K at Olympics, so S/K have to win GPF and Russian Nationals to be Russian number #1 and be able to get a medal at Olympics

I'm so torn. I want Savchenko to have her OGM. I want Stolbova to have an OGM because I think Stolbova/Klimov are the best overall skaters of the entire lot and have had the worst luck with injuries. I  at those who say they have no chemistry. Chemistry doesn't mean you Lurve each other. I'm indifferent to the Chinese and Yu is my favorite Chinese lady anyway.

But, I REALLY want Tarasova/Morosov to win and make heads explode and panties drop. The thing is, NOBODY can hear the lyrics anyway. I've played that program for friends who couldn't distinguish a single lyric. They just thought it was fun.

It is a dilemma. My perfect podium would be two Russians and one German team, but I want them to all tie for the OGM.

So, for the GPF....I'm good with some combination of the above, a different combination for Europeans and a third for the Olympics. Gold for everybody.
