Vote with your heart. Those who you want to see win the GPF, not those who you think will win. You have 2 choices.

I vote for Sergei and Adam.:swoon:

Nathan Chen all the way! His SP is one of my favorites this year, and his LP is pretty good too.

- Shoma has better skating skills, but I find his artistic input less and less interesting with every year. His unattractive, low jumps with bad landings also really bother me. It used to be OK when he was doing triples and quad toes, but his quad flips look really, really unsightly. He's lucky the judging system is relentless in looking at full rotations, and that he rotates fast since he is so small.
- Boyang Jin is an excellent jumper but I don't think he has improved his weaknesses enough this year.
- Adam is great but I still root for Nathan.
- If not Nathan, I hope for Mikhail Kolyada. He is probably the closest to the complete package in this group, and is finally cracking into the Big 6 (now the Big 7).
- Good for Sergei for skating so well at his age, but his programs this year are awful. Muse was much better for him.

I am going with Shoma for the win
  • Japanese skaters at home in GP event usually skate incredible.
  • Shoma Uno was born and trains in ‎Nagoya, Japan.

Ordinarily I would say Shoma or Nathan for the gold but both of them have had bad skates skates at their last GP events.
If they falter and leave the door open, well we will have to wait and see.

I do not think the other men can outskate a clean or semi clean Shoma or Nathan and I believe they will go 1 and 2.

Personally I want Shoma to win.

IMO the other men will be skating for Bronze.

For me the real competition will be between Shoma and Nathan.

The technical demands placed on men's bodies right now is insane. I'm just hoping all of the guys skate well and stay healthy.

I am afraid of Shoma Uno the most. His deep torque landings make me feel uneasy even more when I realize how much tension & force there must be that he does not realize yet. I pity his hips. He's asking for stress injury at some point.

Same. I've read that he has been carrying an ankle - injury for quite some time, too.

Given the push for quads this season, so many of the men's programs seem to consist of three minutes of long jump set ups, followed by a minute of crazy footwork, and three spins to finish.

Artistry seems to have been really sacrificed for jumps, jumps, and more jumps.

Sadly, I could probably count on one hand programs that moved me in any way.

I am disappointed with Turandot 2.0 of Uno, there are some changes to it but for the most part I see that it's been watered down when it comes to in-between choreography. No wonder why ... there are more quad jumps jammed in than 2 seasons ago and those quads are not aesthetically done in my book. New music cuts / edition leave me cold for some reason as well but at least I can acknowledge that they wanted to make it feel more fresh.
