For me, it's Medvedeva and Brown (to see what effects switching to Team Orser will have), Higuchi (and if she will start including the triple axel in her routines), Gracie Gold (and her road to recovery), and Alexandrovskaya & Windsor (and how moving to Canada will help them climb up the ladder.)

Higuchi. She has all the tools needed to dominate skating with Osmond taking the year off, Zagitova probably retiring soon, and Medvedeva a question mark right now. Her world silver had to be a big confidence boost after the crushing dissapointment of missing the Olympics and I look forward to seeing how they do.

Also Hawayek & Baker. I think they are on a rapid rise at the moment. Will probably pass Chock & Bates as U.S #2.

Ooooh, good thread. I agree that seeing what happens with Team Orser will be fascinating. I am also interested in what happens with Dubreuil/Lauzon camp, Hub/Don in particular. And will Pap/Ciz expand their repertoire? Can American pairs rise? And how will the Canadian scene shape after all the retirements? Interesting times!

I think Osmond is just sitting out the GP series......not the whole season.......I think.....

Wakaba, Evgenia-Alina, Brown, Trusova, Kostornaya, Tarakanova..Aliev

I'm curious to see how major coaching changes work out for Medvedeva, Brown, the Knierims as well as the new additions to Gadbois, Hawayek/Baker, Chock/Bates and the second Polish team, Plutowska/Flemin who is delightful on social media/youtube.

Then there are the silverfoxes, Voronov, Majorov, Reynolds, Brezina and Takahashi. In fact, I'd love to see them all in one competition together. :cheer2:
