The Austrians are literally the only pair in the first group still together.

Second group not much chop in those stakes either.

This really was the season of that hideous Ghost music. There were 2 or 3 of these in the short program alone.

Jesus, poor Alexa's breakdown as soon as they finished is hard to watch.

She just did not look stable at all. Was this before or after her surgery?

This Aliona/Bruno free, combined with the momentum the program had, might just be my favorite program ever. I don't think I ever yelled and screamed and cried and laughed as much as I did when giving this a standing O in Milan.

Wow, I've been so in love with their 2018 Olympics Free Skate, I didn't realize how much better they were at Worlds. That was phenomenal!

For the record: two clean triples (one in clean 3-2 combo), clean 2A, three level 4 spins, level 3 steps, and that still would not have made the minimums for this year's Worlds.

Seriously. A step out on the combo and she wouldn't have made Worlds this year. This is ridiculous. Four of the five skaters in the first group would not have qualified for Worlds this year.

A great skate from Viveca, in hindsight I get a bit sad watching it now. Who knows if she'll ever skate again.

So, I just sneaked over to the results page.

Nineteen ladies would not have qualified for this year's Worlds with their TES at 2018 Worlds. NINETEEN, out of 37! And six of them made the cut here. There are just not enough FUs for the ISU.
