Senior ladies SP

Thanks but I still don’t see any links via this:

Scroll down. No links to the programs, skate order or results...though I’m grateful for what’s been directly posted here by Ana and haribobo.

Count me as also grateful for the direct links! But I like to watch events without knowing the result ... is there a list somewhere of the order that the entrants skated (or will skate) in, without results listed?

I can hardly wait for the pairs. I'm off to watch the ladies while I'm waiting. :)

Maybe ana or haribobo have a direct link to the ladies skate order too...

Can’t wait to see and know about Ladies LPs.

Isn’t this the oddest situation?

I see that Starr opted out of the 2nd opportunity...Ting and Hannah competed in neither opportunity.

I'm looking forward to seeing both Ting and Hannah ... I find them both charming and engaging skaters. I guess they just weren't ready yet. Probably smart of them to opt out rather than invite remarks. Although I really admire and appreciate skaters who go ahead and compete, if they feel that's the experience they need.

I played around with the url for the Senior Ladies SP and managed to find the Senior Dance RD.

The key thing is the archive number. The Junior Pairs FS was number 1741. Then you get the Senior RD at 1742 and the Senior Ladies SP at 1743.

I tried 1745, 1746 etc to see if I could find the other events but no luck so far (maybe they’ll appear later this evening).

Can we put the results in spoiler here please? :)
I double @skylark here.
But of course I am curious for the scores too.

It's hard to search for streams in here and try to not see the results :p

I feel apathetic about H/D's new rhythm dance. It's better than listening to Daddy again, but I feel like it really drags out near the end. Also, the ice dance scores all feel way too high, it's probably the national scoring coming in hot. Anthony almost fell out of one of his twizzles, which is probably why G/P were scored higher than CPom.

So Knierim does not bother to perform at all for the first 2/3 of the SP?
I know they are a new team but :blah:

Official site’s links still not up. Thanks, sleuths! 😉

spoiler

Just watched ladies sp...

Bell truly in class of her own...despite a fall. Again - by far the best filmed program with correct zoom...

Bradie and Alysa ok.

Karen C had a lovely quality. Back to a tango, I see.

Among those who wore costumes, Poojah’s dress was gorgeous.

I think I spotted Gracie in a black track suit...bless her.

I cannot freakin’ believe that, in some cases, the lady being filmed was sharing ice with multiple skaters, zipping around, doing their own things!!! Oh Lordie!

Must have missed the 'Hallelujah' FD for H/D.
This is an old program or am I totally confused? Or was this an RD?

ETA: Late to the party... Gracie's SP is to "I'm a Survivor."

Thanks for typing out the starting orders, @haribobo!

ETA #2:

I've added Serafini/Tran into the #4 spot (Chan/Howe was accidentally listed twice):
Pairs starting order (SP music added by me later):

McBeath/Bartholomay ("Cry Me a River" by Michael Bublé), Chan/Howe (selections from Onmyoji OST by Shigeru Umebayashi), Knierim/Frazier ("In the End" by Tommee Profitt +"Too Far Gone" by Hidden Citizens), Serafini/Tran ("If I Ain’t Got You" by Alicia Keys), Finster/Nagy ("Lost Without You" by Freya Ridings), Lu/Mitrofanov ("The Show Must Go On" from Moulin Rouge OST), Calalang/Johnson (last year's "Light of the Seven"), Cain/LeDuc ("Never Tear Us Apart" by Bishop Briggs), Kayne/O'Shea (last season's "Clair de Lune" by Debussy)

I've watched the RD:

-McNamara/Spiridonov: I'm glad Lorraine's found a new partner... but Big Spender, really? It barely even fits the Finnstep :wall: A little rough in places but they definitely have potential.
-Pate/Bye: They really made me smile :D I loved her facial expressions, she looked like she was having so much fun! Technically weaker than most of the others, but still very good.
-Cesanek/Yehorov: They look very mature for first-year seniors, which is a good thing. The program wasn't my favourite but they did really well! Definitely ones to watch for the future.
-Green/Parsons: Love their costumes! And I definitely prefer this RD to their last one too, although there are still other RDs I prefer. I truly think they could be the top US team post-2022. Beating C/P in this segment is quite a feat.
-Carreira/Ponomarenko: I still prefer C/B's Too Darn Hot by far, and we've likely ended up with two US versions again, since I don't think C/B will change their RD. They're very talented but I just don't connect to their skating as much as most of the other US teams.
-Hawayek/Baker: Love this program! It was nice to have a slightly different version too, it was fresh. It was nice to have a new lift too, instead of the curve lift they've done several times. Hope they keep their US no.3 spot!
-Hubbell/Donohue: They are another team I've never really connected to, even when they had "good programs". Their skating skills and power are still tops. This RD is definitely better than the last one and suits them well, but its not to my taste. The score was lower than I expected too- I hope this means C/B aren't gonna lose out politically for being injured and not ready yet.
-I miss C/B :(

I know they are a new team but :blah:

it looks like they are concentrating. I’m sure it takes a lot of concentration to work with a new partner. The performance will come....

It's better than listening to Daddy again, but I feel like it really drags out near the end.

I agree. The fast part is nice (although it's Burlesque) but when the slow part started their energy disappeared.

I think M/S have a good FD - the first minute to Money is quite interesting. Then the music switched to Shine on You Crazy Diamond and became less so but still, they look good for a very new team.

Both H/B and H/D's FDs are disappointing to me.

H/B: The clip they showed earlier is very promising but the whole thing feels flat. Why not use the original version of Heart of Glass? And why suddenly there's a Philip Glass piece at the end? Their skating looks better than last season though.

H/D: Why recycle your old program music? :wall: It looks better than the previous two FDs but there are tons of other songs to choose if you want that Hallelujah vibe. And it feels dragging too.

Okay rants over.

I like Hallelujah more than their new RD or last year's programs (maybe I'm just biased toward Hallelujah, it's one of my favorite warhorses), but I feel like neither program is a huge hit? One of the biggest problems with H/D's A Star is Born FD last year was that they kept failing to make the most of the crescendo in Shallow. They do a better job in this FD of doing that, but I still feel like the crescendo could be a huge moment, but they're skating is too soft there to do that. Both programs are better than last year, but neither feels like the revelation which could push H/D forward.

I also greatly miss C/B. Hopefully they're doing ok and they have good new programs.

As soon as I finish, the FD is uploaded :biggrinbo

FD thoughts:
-M/S: Again, has potential, but a bit dull. Not that I'm surprised, it's WISA.
-P/B : The "stumble and fall" slide never gets old :D I love this song and again, love their skating and how much fun they look like they're having.
-C/Y: I quite liked this program last year and I still like it now. I never took a lot of notice of them in the stacked US junior dance field but they looked great here!
-G/P: LOVE LOVE LOVE!! It was so refreshing in this group of FDs. As they get more comfortable with the program the expression will come more but it's so good. Their two FDs have been the best choreography to come out of WISA in years.
-C/P: I'm still annoyed at Igor for reusing another old C/B program. And the program isn't stand out compared to the rest. Their strong spot last year is definitely not guaranteed this year.
-H/B: I really like it! It's a different sort of Blondie program than I would have ever expected but I did enjoy it. I think its the best FD Gadbois has given them so far. I was worried about them keeping US #3, but I think they're looking good to thus far.
-H/D: Better than their last 2 FDs, but why reuse Hallelujah!? That program was amazing, yes, but to create another iconic moment like that I think it needs to be something new. And it doesn't match up to most of their past FDs IMO. With C/B out, I thought they might have a chance of getting the top spot back, but I'm not sure any more, obviously depending on how C/B look and how their programs are.
-I STILL MISS C/B. Come back, babies!

Dance FD Score

2. Hawayek/Baker 115.13
3. Carreira/Ponomarenko 114.13

The FD score is very beatable by C/B. And H/B and C/P so close in the free will probably make H/B quite nervous. C/P were behind in the RD because Anthony nearly fell out of his twizzles. C/P need to be less sloppy, and they have a chance.

ETA: C/P also messed up their lift in the RD. If they weren't so sloppy, they could've beaten H/B

I haven't seen the FD (the link doesnt work for me for some reason) but if this is about the RD - CPom missed the timing on their lift meaning they wouldn't have got their usual level 4 with positive goe - without the error they are scoring only a point or so behind H/B

Alas, Elenok’s link is no longer working. (Glad that I saw it when she posted, LOL!)

I wonder if all 13 Senior Ladies will be back, once the film is officially posted?

P.s. I see that all of Haribobo’s links are also down. 😢
