TV Show Endings

I will never forgive CBS for canceling Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior in the middle of the season after a cliffhanger!

That is your punishment for watching Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior beyond the second episode. I like Criminal Minds, but Suspect Behavior was just too  to stay on my watch list for more than two weeks. And even that was generous.

The House ender was I think a 2-hour one, and it definitely stands alone. Though if you could also stand to watch another episode from earlier in the season, "The C Word," it would be a good context-setter for a lot of the personal stuff between House and Wilson.

I've only seen a few reruns of House over the years. How did it "end"?

It got much better as it went along. The first couple of episodes were a bit of a mess but they got into a rhythm after that.

It was great, a real "ok, now that's an ending" ending.

In brief:
Wilson has terminal cancer. House wants to go on a last bucket list adventure with Wilson and keep him company for whatever weeks or months he has left. But because of the conditions of his parole he can't leave the state. So he (House) fakes his own death -- in a rather spectacular fashion. Then the two of them ride off into the sunset ... on motorcycles. The faking-his-death thing is a nod to Sherlock Holmes faking his own death, as House and Wilson are inspired, somewhat, by Holmes and Watson.
