I was so pleased when the shibs did let’s face the music and dance about 12 years ago or so

I saw them take bronze in Moscow live and in person. It was unheard of at the time for an ice dance team to medal in their world debut. I haven't watched that program in almost 14 years, and their free dance was as terrific as I remember it.

If you want have an idea on how the show looks, this YouTube channel has all the TD dances and moments of the show.
It was filmed on Saturday 13th at Wembley arena.

I flew in from Italy to London to see them and it was totally worth it!

As it was already mentioned, the show was a little cheesy and in my opinion wasn't up the their older tours' standards.
Still totally worth to see them one last time and, for me, to pay tribute to them.

Summertime Blues and Bolero were my favorites TD moments, but I'd gladly have done without team KoKo in the cast (LOL sorry)

The DOI part was too long as was the pre-recorded material, and I can't believe they didn't do Paso Doble and all those creative professional numbers that @Belsornia already mentioned.
The original Encounter is my very favorite and I was kinda mad at them for not doing that, albeit shortly.

I was also very happy that I got to meet them and talk to them afterwards after 16 years. I was so happy that they still remember me after all this time...

I know I'll catch a lot of heat for saying this even though they're in their sixties and it's great that to see them still skating and touring. But gosh, from the YouTube clips I saw of Jayne in particular, she looked really tired, stiff and slow. The tribute sequences to Face The Music, Mack & Mabel and Bolero looked really watered down and simple (by their standards) with a lot of posing in place as well.

I think I have been spoiled by the tremendous amount of competition coverage on SBS TV this year.

I'll probably give their farewell tour a miss when it comes to Australia in June, and stick with my memories of when they performed here Australia in 1984 and 1994 instead.

Are they giving up touring so that they can return to competition? All the cool kids adults retirees are returning to competition next season.

I watched a couple of fan videos online. @Foolhardy Ham Lint I get what you're saying. I thought the choreography was quite clever in using the ensemble to "fill in" the places in programs - as in, to replace the moves that T&D couldn't or wouldn't do. But to me that then raises the question, are those still the programs that people are expecting to see? TBH I kind of wish they had done all new programs, taking into account what T&D feel comfortable doing, instead of doing "revised" versions of their iconic programs.

But being in North America I have not seen that much of the Dancing on Ice UK TV show, so maybe the expectations of the UK audiences are different than mine.

I think that's why when T & D were in their prime, when they came to Australia in the 1980s and 1990s, audiences were not only treated to full versions of their favourites (Bolero, Mack & Mabel, Spanish Caprice, Summertime, Barnum), Jayne and Chris performed work they did as professionals such as Encounter, Song of India, Diablo Tango, The Planets, Imagine, Celia, Tilt, along with their Eleanor Rigby and Missing (which were later adapted for The Duchesnays).

The ensemble work was pretty good as well, particular for their FACE THE MUSIC tour in 1994.
