I know this post isn’t what this thread is about, but I have to share with my fellow music lovers.

Back in the early 2000’s I got the bright idea (not) to copy all of my numerous CD’s onto my Mac computer. Then I tossed them.

Later, the Mac crashed spectacularly, and while a tech guy was able to recover my pictures, the music was gone. I had put the music on an iPod, which was great, but I had no idea where the iPod was. We are talking mid-2000s.

When I moved last year in a long-ignored junk drawer in a spare bedroom, I found the iPod. Then I lost it again in moving boxes. It resurfaced last week as I was going through the last of them (these things take time lol).

I had to order a charger on Amazon, but all of the music is there! The iPod can’t hold a charge, and I will copy the music to my laptop, but it is so much fun to listen to my long-lost CDs!
