Skating related memory. When my mom was the skating director, she did a show with Magic Carpet Ride as the theme. Group numbers were themed by country. There were mini-solos as the person who was riding the carpet (to this song) between countries, and regular solos attached to the group numbers. It was pretty clever. She cut all the music on a reel to reel tape player.
